Published

Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

Hey there I'm also hoping to get into RCC's program, it has such a great reputation!! Good luck hopefully we all get in : )

Hi Steph143 yes good luck to us all. I'm really looking forward to the Nursing program of RCC. I am currently studying for the TEAS V.

I've took the TEAS at Loma Linda, when I was applying there. If I can give a word of advice, try to really focus on the science part as much as you can!! It is a killer!! Everything else was really easy, even the math, and I am HORRIBLE in math. Good luck :)

im the opposite im worried about the reading and english. I got the science and math down.

Oh okay! I thought it was really easy, science was horrible for me! But good luck, when are you going to take it?

I'm hoping i get invited to the TEAS exam for RCC. If so, it will be November 8. I hope the english part is really easy. That is what i'm really nervous about.

Hello, I'm trying to apply for the program too. Is any one going to the pre-nursing workshop this friday? I am currently taking my microbiology class so I hope my chances of being accepted are still good. I need to get all my classes evaluated also so I'm so stressed. :o I have taken all my classes out in Los Angeles so I am really worried that my classes will not be equivalent to those of rcc! Plus I can't see a counsler until Tuesday for to turn in all my transcripts and get the evaluation done! I just really hope I get in for next semester. Does any one know my chances of getting in with micro still in progress?

Hi @ gvlara20, Well I know that you cannot get in with having classes still in progress even if it's 1 class. I know they are strict about that. Are you going to apply this time to start in Feb, or are you going to apply in Jan, to start the following Fall2014? I'm kinda confused. But They have told me that the cut off has been 75 pts, so if you can do super good on your teas you should be fine : )

Oh okay, I think as long as you got A or B, you should be invited...From what I remember about English, they asked alot like how the practice book was. Parts of speech, grammar, etc

Hi, Steph143 is right. You cannot have any class in progress unless you are in the LVN to RN bridge program.
