hahaha yes! When are you taking the TEAS? I was wondering if I would get invited to take the TEAS at RCC for free. I have 2 B's and 1 A for my sciences though. I heard the counselor say that if you have a 3.0 or above on sciences you have a good chance of getting invited.

Oh man! I really am considering of applying somewhere else right now too! lol >_

@Phily20, are you at RCC? I've taken Physics, and CHem2b already there. I LOVED chem2b, the professor that teaches it (only one at riverside) is awesome!! Physics, not soo much =/...

Oh man, so the competition is stiff! Well I hope you guys do super well on the TEAS! And may we all get in, it will be nice to know all you guys!!

i think you should be fine with 2 Bs and 1 A. What is your GPA on your other pre-reqs?

@Steph143:

I use to attend the Riverside campus, but now I'm attending the Moreno Valley campus to complete my GE. :) Oh! haha who did you have for Chem 2b? I had ------- for Chem 2A, and I loved his class! Yeah I wouldn't be looking forward to physics either, but if it's a required than so be it! lol Are you applying to other nursing programs?

And Thanks!! I hope we all really do! :nailbiting: lol

RCC has a great nursing program, I've heard so much positive things about it. Plus, I think they are linking the BSN transitional program for the RCC RN students to be completed in one year at Cal State Fullerton :)

I really hope so! I have a 4.0 on all of my other pre-reqs. (:

and how about you?

I have a 4.0 in my Sciences and a 3.22 on my other pre-reqs :arghh: so i'm going in with 50points

Ahhh lol I think a lot of us are in the same point range! :facepalm: Anyhow, when I e-mailed ------- she told me that having 85pts or above greatly guranteed you a spot. Also, I have been searching the number of points that got people in during the past cohorts. Since spring is less competitive than fall due to the less number of applicants, most people said they got in with 75-80points this spring of 2013. :)) I just hope this number stays the same!:yes:

Oh okay I see, I only have taken classes at the Norco and Riverside campus. I had------for 2a,2b... I heard ------- was hard my friend took him too! I only took Physics because I wanted to go to LLU, that was my first choice. Since I didnt get in :notworthy:, it doesn't matter, no other school I've seen has physics as a requirement. I'm applying to Valley, and RCC this term. If I do not get in I'll be applying again and also to Mt Sac, and Cal State San Bernardino to start in the Fall2014..I'm just so over waiting, I graduated technically in the spring, so now I'm just taking classes to get a 2nd associates and just the cna program im in, I just want to start already!! : )

Thats why I reallly hope to get into RCC they have a very good rep, from all the nearby hospitals. You can't beat the price either :cool:, If i get in, I will be looking into accelerated BSN programs asap, I been looking at LLU, UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Fullerton's. All in all it becomes waay cheaper. So thats why I do not get down when people say why am I wasting time getting my adn... There are plenty of jobs in our area! ;)

I hope we all get in, so at least we will have some one we know already!

This is true, They told me Fall 2013 the cut off was 75pts! I'm at 75pts with my Cna, so IM HOPING that stays the same! lol My general ed ga would have been 4.0 had it not been for the B in my Eng1a, My science gpa is good, but not great, and my teas test killed me I scored 71 first time! =/

So people rock out on the teas!!

Hi ladies! So I went to the workshop yesterday and apparently I can apply with my micro in progress except it is not recommended. ------ told me my chances would be very slim so I will have to wait until the next application time. The workshop really put me at ease because ------ looked over my classes and verified that they were equivalent to rcc's requirements. Well to those who are applying this time, good luck! I hope every one gets in! :)
