Riverside Community College Nursing Program Spring 2016

Hi everyone!

I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

I know!! It came so fast...I can't believe it. I feel like this whole process is going to go so fast but then again it's going to feel like forever until we get our answer

Do you happen to know if we needed to submit out fall 2015 application in order to apply for the nursing program?

I know that you just have to put an application in so that if you do get accepted it let's you register for the classes.

I believe they said you can apply at any point as long as it's before we start in February. So you can do it now

Not dumb at all ! Yes you do need to apply to RCC before applying to the program. It's crazy easy tho so do it now !

Alright, thank you! I have my RCC ID# but I forgot to apply for Fall 2015. The counselor said my nursing application will be accepted still. I was so worried :crying2:

Hello! Yes the ATI is helpful and make sure you also take the practice test online. I heard it's very helpful. I've also heard depending on the applicants you still have a good chance with 75 points total so just study hard ☺
