what is everyone wearing to the fire safety training/advisement meeting??

I am going to wear something comfortable. Not a fancy suit. I believe we are going to have a uniform fitting done. What do you think is appropriate to wear?

I was at Rio Hondo College this morning. The Dept. of Nursing stated the mandatory meeting is confirmed for this Friday, Nov. 1st.

For those individuals that have been accepted, we will find out during the Nov. 1st/Friday orientation when we are allowed to sign up for the ADN 075/ LVN Transition class. There will be a mandatory fire safety class, additional information, & uniform fitting. Be sure to have the exact cash amount or credit card with you.

congrats to those of us who got accepted! And good luck to those on the alternate.
I got accepted to a few programs and have committed to a different school. I sent in my email already. Good luck and I hope my spot goes to someone on here!!!

A friend of mine did not get accepted into Rio Hondo College for the LVN to ADN (RN) Program. She is going to look at other options such as:

Mt. SAC, Citrus, PCC, Cerritos, Cal State LA, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, & the L.A. County School of Nursing.

I still haven’t gotten any emails or letters from Rio Hondo ?. Idk what’s going on since some of you guys have gotten a notification already. If I don’t get anything today I think I’ll call tomorrow and ask if they can just tell me over the phone if I got in or not.

Sounds good! Comfortable but nice. When I turned in my application packet, it states we will be there all day from 8 am to 5 pm.

Try calling to see what is going on. If you can't get through, you may have to go to the Dept. of Nursing office on campus. They were super busy today!
