Any recommendation for review center for local board here in the philippines.In preparation for Board Exam on Dec'06.

No, it doesn't. That is why some don't take NLE anymore and just go directly and apply for eligibility to take the NCLEX and Visa Screening.

Some, know of this also but wanted to practice 1st in the Phils. or to prove to themselves and to the others that they rightfully finished their course w/ the same knowledge as the others so they chose to take the NLE (also a sign of confidence that they can pass it)

but is it applicable in all the state in the US? i have a friend who is also applying in ohio state and as far as i can remember the BON is requiring phil boards. hmm i have not yet opened the ohio state site tho coz i am enjoying reading the filipino threads here.

phil license is not really required.. but if you have one, you have to disclose the information when you apply for license because if you dont, it is fraud. if you dont have a license, that's fine.

OHIO needs CES full education course by course report. it is applied in CGFNS.. they dont require license in country of education.

hi! I suggest that you choose a review center that has good feedbacks already. Ray Gapuz Review is good but its expensive. There are other review centers also who gives good lectures and will keep you alive like Universal Review Center located in Guadalupe. Try to research about it.

I would like to warn you USA link is not a good review center. Stay away from Joey Dee. BEWARE OF JOEY DEE!!! He is not worth of your money. He is a waste of your time and money. He is not anymore a USRN because he is a cheater, no wonder why he decided to move here in the Philippines. Warn your relatives in Bulacan or any friends who is related in nursing,planning to review nursing. He will waste your review time talking about his life and life in US and not talking about what he is supposed to teach. Beware of his hand outs, dont fall on buying it, he is just copying the lippincott med surg review book and asking you to pay 500 as donations for the handouts where in fact you can buy a book for 300 pesos only, ORIGINAL! I was fooled by this person and I dont want it to be repeated to others. Best of luck to all test takers!!!!

Just for FYI purposes: Gapuz is also not anymore a US licensed RN and do remember that he is in the center of the June 2006 NLE leakage scandal and this is public knowledge as well.

Gapuz? It's one of those review centers who got involved in the June'06 controversy,right? How could you recommend such center? Plsszzzzzzz.

How in the world can you recommend a review center that was at the center of the controversy and is well known to instill cheating in the students that go thru that program.

Sorry, but not sure how to be more blunt about it. How in the world do you suggest a program like that?

And the reason that he no longer has a US license as that he never had a SSN# to renew it. Meaning that he has never been in the US working as an RN.
