im a registered nurse in the philippines

im planning to practice in new jersey where my aunt

lives so i need to take cgfns. im confused what review

center wouls i choose.

in kaplan they have 180 hours laboratory + 26 hours

lecture 3hours 3x a week is that advisable for cgfns?

in labagnoy review center they have 1 month course

review 1 month critical review 1 month final coaching

perhaps just like in gapuz cos i went to gapuz on my local

boards, but i learned from some friends labagnoy is good in

cgfns while kaplan is good in nclex + gapuz is for local

boards... no doubt about that

also im looking for good resources for cgfns, right now im

so confused, no problem with the fee no problem with the

location... the only thing is which is better for cgfns?

so as not to be confused, you might want to consider attending labagnoy's class at daytime and having kaplan's online review at nighttime. :lol2: :uhoh3: why not?

......just kidding.....peace.....:kiss

much better if you review the CGFNS study guide which the cgfns includes in the first applicant. it's very helpful

i took Kaplan review here in our place. I consider that Kaplan is the best in review but the CGFNS and NCLEX review have the same approach. Exactly the same materials and videos. It may be contradicting to what Suzanne said about the CGFNS and NCLEX exams that they are completely different...

But then again i still think that Kaplan help me a lot in my review for CGFNS.

Now that i know that CGFNS guide is the ultimate tool in passing the exams. I'll shift my focus from the Q & A of Saunders 3rd edition to the CG Guide. I'll be taking this coming July 12. Any specific suggestions for those who already passed the exams? thanks a lot...

Hello, I am planning to enrol at Kaplan, I too am confused coz I really need to review coz I graduated 10 years ago, never worked as a nurse and raring to return to our profession.

I think Kaplan would be good for you because it is more comrehensive.

I went to Kaplan for my review for CGFNS and NCLEX. They have the same approach to CGFNS and NCLEX. They have a good bank of new questions and they are made by Kaplan professors themselves and its exclusive only to Kaplan reviewers. They also have tests that you can't access the rationales in their libraries. They do this to protect the validity of their final tests. They have a good comprehensive and a lot of new questions.

I would suggest this to people who are refreshing their knowledge about nursing. Good thing they have longer span in terms reviewing at their center. You control your pace when studying. A gradual process perfect for refreshers. It really works for me...

Thank you, I think I am going to take NCCLEX, by the way what does NCLEX stands for? I am sorry it's kind of alien to me, one thing that I only know is that once you pass it you are allowed to work in the US.

it's at your fingertips:

national council licensure examination

good luck!
