Hi!

I reviewed under Ma'am Annabelle Borromeo for my NCLEX.The name of her review center is A+ Nursing Tutorial.Her company is known as ABMCI.Their office is in Makati.They have online reviews and live lectures. Ma'am Annabelle and her reviewers makes difficult topics easy to understand. I passed my exam last March through their help.:)

That's good. Hope we'll pass too. I think I'll buy a saunder's comprehensive book for my nclex review after i take the cgfns. I'm confidence that the comprehensive is very good in terms of passing the nclex exam.

I also used the Saunder's NCLEX reviewer. I also answered at least 150 questions a day and rationalize the next day.I also used Springhouse NCLEX-RN reviewer. It did help build my tenacity in answering the questions especially during my actual NCLEX. Kasi, I have this problem then during my college days that when the going gets tough, I sink.I get tired and just answer anything without analyzing. I just wanted to finish it and get done with it.

When you're already there in front of the computer during the actual NCLEX,it's like you're having a tennis or fencing final match.That's what I felt then. I really looked for ways to topple that mighty computer and come out the winner. Sometimes,even if you've done all the reviewing and read all the reviewers you can get your hands on,it's also important to prepare yourself psychologically and more so, spiritually. Naku, I prayed to all the saints I can think of and lighted candles in churches.I also fasted.My sisters lit candles in their homes also especially during the time I was taking the NCLEX in Hongkong. Call it desperate,but I didn't mind doing all those things because I wanted to pass.It actually did the trick.I passed.

I'm sharing this experience because I believe in the Filipino nurse!:)

A new review center is opening in Baguio - Beneterra Review Services. The reviewer will be a nurse educator and IV coordinator currently based in Connecticut as stated in their brochure. The cousin (also the OIC) said he is starting a nursing agency in the US and wanys to have a pool of nurses ready once he gets it set up. They're only giving reviews on CGFNS and NCLEX.

It is a 14-day review but claimed to be precise and concise and to the point, none of that load of information that will give you a headache after the review. They are also focusing on taking the test and not merely rehashing what you have learned in college.

I checked their office (still for furnishing) and they have updated copies of saunders, pharmacology, kaplan, CDs of mosby and cgfns stuff, CGFNS secrets - all original. I have not seen the flipcards though since the girl said they are being laminated. I think the review is on OCtober 1-14, and the fee is quite reasonable I might say, since you'll also be saving on board and lodging and transpo as compared to the longer reviews. Our group is signing up once their forms are ready, they're that new.

I actually reviewed @ east west and it's not a good experience for me.

My friends though, they enrolled @ pentagon and they are really happy with it. when we get together, all they can say is how good the lecture, etc. And I can't even boast my own review center...

i reviewed at RA Gapuz and my computer stopped at 75, same goes with my boyfriend. we both passed on our first try! the strategies in attacking questions he taught us helped a lot! plus his classes are never boring. i highly recommend RA Gapuz for NCLEX! :balloons:

Sorry, but guess that you have never looked at any of the posts on this topic here or anywhere else. His centers were at the center of the cheating fiasco with the NLE last summer and it is very well known both in the US, as well as PI about his reviews that are done just prior to the exam with questions that he has received from the students of his that took the exam. And it very well known about the five questions and answers that need to be given to him when you come out of the exam.

So he really did not teach you alot, but how to cheat on an exam. And that is not well accepted here in the US. And we have seen students that went thru his program not being able to cut it working in the US. And he has never worked in the US as an RN, and no longer has a license in the US. It is inactive as it was never used and he never provided them with a SSN#.

So I highly recommend that you rethink what you are posting. Those around here that post here are well aware of what is going on with his center. And there are actually employers that will not touch anyone that went thru his programs. Since I am sure that you knew about his actions before you started your review, you get placed with him, and that is not a good thing.

ATI Evoke is good they have new materials and they have assessment per subjects. and one on one approach unlike with kaplan they have old videos as far back as 2001 and you have to copy the questions...unlike with ATI where you take home the questions, the cds and the books
