any one who can recommend a very good review center in manila... any feedback about universal review center.. please send them... im considering enrolling with them..

thanks so much

Where is ATI located? Thanks!:)

^^^ thanks suzanne, i appreciate your opinion. i hope not all employers will discriminate nurse applicants based on the review program they attended and the rumors that have been going around, after all the NCLEX is fool proof. we visited our school today and the faculty members were all happy for us. we did good in school, we studied hard and we know that we did our best for the nclex and also read saunders as you have suggested. honestly the practice questions that we had at the review are easier and quite different from the nclex. it's the strategies that helped. i feel so blessed that we passed with only 75 questions, thank God!

hi there..im a fresh grad nursing student from the Holy Trinity College in Palawan and i really need to know about nursing review centers in manila that arent that much of a cost but at its best, and when will be the start of review coz i'll be taking the board this december, God willing..Hope u can help..Thanks!

if i were you, just have some self review....just took the june 2007 nle...i told you...honestly...only 1% of what the review center taught us came out....better if you just self study coz in NLE...expect the unexpected....better have a wide range of reading to all nursing concepts....coz if u'll be in a review center you will just study what they taught you....and last june 2007 exam...majority of the questions came out were not discussed in review center...this is just a friendly advise but still the decision is yours....God bless

i have attended pentagon (5 lecturers) for my intensive review and

urc (3 lecturers - Universal Review Center) for my final coaching. pentagon despite being dragged into the controversy is very very good in terms of their lectures and strategy. particulary the ms lecturer and the psych. no dull moment and lots of laughter. their lectures are retained in your memory. it was their lecture that keeps on popping in my head during my nclex exam. the downside is having lots of students and their ms is not that updated in terms of new diseases and pharmacology.

urc on the other hand offers what pentagon lacks. i'm glad i made the right decision on not to concentrate on a single review center. their lecturers are pretty competent in their field. they even have acronmys for every topics for easy recall which is also helpful for innovative questions. they give you updates on new diseases and pharma. they incorporate lectures in their final coaching which was great.

but if i'm going to compare their lecturers in terms of effectivity. i would placed the MS & Psych lecturer of pentagon on top and the three lecturers of URC and the lawyer lecturer of pentagon on the second spot altogether.

God bless.

hi il be taking cgfns, and im thinking or enrolling at kaplan.. but i dont know if i shoud go for the online review or classroom sessions.. what do u think?? which one would benefit me the most?

thank u really appreciate it

which one would be better??? kaplan online or the classroom sessions? planning to take cgfns and review at kaplan

hi mhae7,

sometimes it depends upon you, if you learn quickly thru classroom setting then go for it...i passed my CGFNS and IELTS thru self study only, it works for me that way because i am in control of my time.

thanks very much..but isnt that expensive to have reviews with those both?

There are three answers to the NLE board questions: your answer, the correct answer and the answer of the examiner. :lol2:

what review center would you recommend for someone who will take NCLEX while working? a good review center with flexible schedule for working nurses? thanks..

i think kaplan is the only one with flexible review hours. You will be made to watch videos for a certain no. of hours. you may reserve for a slot depending on the availability of the video, slots already reserved and ofcourse ur schedule.

but if you're going to enroll with their lecture as well, even that has a specified date that you must attend...

i know URC, has a specific schedule (daily 9am-7pm) that you need to follow, but they allow students to have a make-up class. and URC is great as well, updated with new diseases and pharmacology. lecturers are funny and intelligent, very professional.

Pentagon's schedule changes in a heartbeat which would be a very great deal of a problem specially for those who already filed their leave of absence. such a shame 'coz they really are soooo good.

try calling them...

gudluck...

God bless...
