This travel nursing reality show is basically a gimick thought up by the sponser to recruit nurses, but it's a good gimick. After reading the thread entitled "We need a nursing TV show", I thought I'd post this.

It says sign up for updates so of course they will want a phone number and of course they will call you.

According to the one newspaper article, it sounds like in will be a web-based show.

I traveled for years, and my life wasn't nearly as interesting as this is supposed to be. I'm sure the "drama" will shed a positive light on the profession...NOT.

IMHO Access is a poor company, and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw 'em.

They ask for your e-mail addy when you sign up for updates, not your phone number.

Anyway, I hope it's not like most Reality TV... full of drama... the bad kind, I mean. :uhoh3: I hardly watch TV these days because that's all the networks show anymore.

Since the sponser of the show is the agency employing the nurses, I'm sure that nothing untoward that happens will be aired.

I'm glad that there are a couple of older nurses in the cast. I figured they would choose all "hot, young babes" lol.

One of the nurses has a BSN form John Hopkins and worked as a disaster relief nurse with the tsunami victims. Very impressive.

I think it is a web-based show, and is basically a tool to recruit nurses for Access Travel Nurses.

I am satisfied with my agency, and have no plans to apply w/ Access. However, being that I am a travel nurse, I am very intrigued by the idea of a reality show featuring travel nurses, or any real nurses for that matter.

I have no doubt they plan to show travel nurses and nursing in general in a positive light.
