VT website says wait 3-4months. If nothing happens in 4 months,I suggest to call them.

yep takes a few months and that is as long as no problems with your application

Hi, the people of VT BON are very efficient and nice. My application was approved after less than 2 and a half months. I guess, it depends on the completeness of your documents.

The amazing thing about VT BON was I got my ATT from Pearson Vue a day after they received the white card. It was stated in their approval letter that within 2 weeks after they receive the white card, the ATT will be sent. It only took a day for VT BON to ask Pearson Vue to release my ATT. And the best part is, I was able to get a good date to take my NCLEX exam here in the Philippines thanks to their efficiency. Kudos to them! They do their jobs well.

God bless you and do not worry,VT BON won't let you down.

Hi everyone! :-) I just graduated last March here in manila and am now working on my nclex application. Just want to ask, which one would be faster to apply to, NCLEX Vermont of New Mexico?

This may seem like a dumb question, but, if I do apply for vermont or new mexico, does that mean i have to work there first before i can apply for a job in other states? Also, assuming that I already have a license in VT or NM that does not require CGFNS, and that I am already living and working in VT or NM, if I move to a state like WA that does require the CGFNS, do I need to take the CGFNS to meet the requirement? Am I making sense? Any advice for me, a very confused and frustrated person? Thanks so much....

Please take the time to do some reading on these forums. There is no requirement in any state that you must work there to get a license there. If the new state requires the CGFNS exam, then you will need to take it. You will need to follow the requirements then for endorsement. Passing of the NCLEX exam and getting a license in one state does not waive the requiremtns for the new state for you.

Example: You have a license in NJ and wish to work in NY. You will need to go thru the CVS procedure to be able to get a license in NY.

You do not apply for the NCLEX exam, you are applying to a state for licensure. The exam is only one part of the process and you need to meet the rest of the requirements.

NCLEX is a national exam, you cannot apply for it. You have to get approval to be able to test from the state. VT is about three months, NM is about three months. Again, the issue should be where you actually wish to work, not where it is the fastest. The endorsement process can make it much longer procedure for you than if you went to that particular state to begin with. You need to decide first where you wish to work, nothing more than that. Not which is the fastest, or has the least requirements. If you are not going to work there, then it does not benefit you if the state that you want has the requirements. Endorsement does not waive the requirements for most states.

A lot of states require SSN when renewing license.

If you real ready to take the NCLEX then you need to register with pearsonvue and arrange where and when to take it.
