could anyone tell me how long roughly to get a permit for nclex from vermont ,coz i sent all of my documents to them last month.im a filipino nurse working in uk at the moment.so please help me.

i have just recently passed the june 2007 exam and like others hu posted here, im also waiting for my license which will be released 2-3 months from now. i wish to apply for NCLEX exam in vermont but as iv read thru the msgs here, i see that i cant apply yet coz i hav got to wait for my license.. how true is this? thank you :)

if you passed the nclex on a particular state then you will be licensed to practice there.. how many years does the license last before it has to be renewed? do you have to take the nclex again in order to renew the license? a reply would be deeply appreciated.. thanks!

hello every one...i'm filling up the application for vt and found myself stuck with this question on page 4 regarding "applicant's statemens on child support".

answer this question:

4. i am in good standing with respect to or in full compliance with a plan to pay any and all unemployment contributions due to the state of vermont.

if you answered "yes", proceed to complete the renewal. if "no", you must contact the office. - what does that mean? proceed to complete renewal? kinda confused here. please help. tnx

another question is how much will i pay if i will register to pearson to take the exam here in the philippines? is it $250 or $150?

as for the number of years before you renew, it depends on the state where you applied. some are 2 years some 3 years. from what i know, you dont have to take the exam again. just pay for the appropriate fees for renewal.

hi! we have the same problem.. i recently passed the nle also and waiting for the registration so i can apply in vermont.. according to an agency, the license is a requirement in vermont. im not sure if you can present or submit something that can certify that you passed the nle like the certification of board rating.. that was my first plan but i m afraid that my application might not be approve because the licesne is what they want.. so im just going to wait for the registration before i will apply.. just to be sure.. i dont know, its just my opinion, try asking others..

Hi, this is what I did... I passed the December 2006 NLE and our licenses were released April 2007. I submitted my application form, fee, transcripts ahead of my license. I attached a cover letter stating that I will just send the copy of my license right away upon release. The very nice person I got in touch with from the Vermont BON said that what I did was ok for them.

They received my documents March, 2007. I sent the copy of my license April 2007. And early May, I got my approval to sit for the exam.

You can do what I did. :-) I hope it helps.

Hello, you are welcome, glad to be of help. About your question.... you will have your registration number when you register. :-) Just leave the license number part on the application form blank since you don't have the license yet.

You're welcome :-) I will be taking the NCLEX early October. I did not have a hard time getting a schedule because I called up Pearson Vue last July and there were a lot of available slots here in the Philippines.I was able to get the date that I wanted. I just do not know if it's still easy nowadays...

I have about 2 weeks left before I take the exam.My advice to you is study well, do your part and God will reward all your efforts. :-)
