how much did you pay for your application in Vermont? Is it $150 or $90 for foreign nurse? is it the 1-5 pages thew one you submitted to the BON? thanks....

thanks

do they need cgfns cert? or other requirements? can u guys help me, i'm planning to apply to vermont instead of cali. i'm actually after the license. i really wanted to work in cali coz that's where my family lives. but as we all know, no ss#=no license.

they don't need any certificates.

all you need to submit along with your application are:

1. 2x2 recent photo

2. photocopy of current license

mailed by your school

3. verification of education form (filled up by your school registrar or dean)

4. official transcript of records

Thanks Pinoy_RN! Can I send my application even if I'm not licensed here yet? I'll be taking the local board this june. I just wanted to send the applications in advance, coz the processing might take forever.

vermont requires a photocopy of your license. you don't need to apply in advance. the processing time of vermont is pretty fast. some applications only take a month. mine took 2 months.

i did not proceed vermont coz im not licensed yet here in the Philippines. instead i applied for new mexico. no phil license needed, no ss#, no ces. And there's no question regarding taxes. you also get your license when you pass the nclex.
