could anyone tell me how long roughly to get a permit for nclex from vermont ,coz i sent all of my documents to them last month.im a filipino nurse working in uk at the moment.so please help me.

yes im with adevia.my exam is next month.my application to vermont went well,they have been approved after 4-5 weeks and to get att ver. it took me a day via online.

Hi everyone! my university registrar had already filled up the verification form (together with my transcript), and he had already sealed the envelope. All I have to do is mail it, the thing is I just passed the local board this June and the registration of new nurses will start on aug 15, they said it will take a month after the registration for licenses to be released, should I mail my TOR and verification to vermont? and then I'll just my mail my application form with a photocopy of my license next month? Will it make any difference if I do it that way? or do you think I should mail it together? I appreciate your time. Thank you so much!

mail both your tor and your application form because if there are documents they want, they will ask you to send them. in my case, i had a problem re:RLE, they asked me to sort it out. good luck!

1) if vermont requires a photocopy of your license but you do not have one yet since i recently passed my local board, may i still apply?

2)vermont has reciprocity w/ ca, does that mean that, if you pass for vermont nclex, can you work directly to ca or must work first in vermont then ca (ca process takes a long time you see)?

3)vermont doesn't need an ss card, in ca they do, is that your local sss card if you're a foreign grad?

hi kababayans and colleagues! just took the vermont nclex last feb of this year. it'll take u less time rather than applying for other states like cali, which normally takes 6 months or more. i got eligible after 2 months and received my ATT (permit) in about a month; knew that i passed the exam after 2 days, immediately after i arrived from hk. like any other nurses, i'm not bound to vermont but to cali coz my sis is also there. u can easily apply for a reciprocity guys..

i passed the june 2006 NLE and our license wont be released for a long tme because oath taking in manila has been suspended...

my mom lives in california and im planning to take the nclex-rn exam.. i have a problem with the fingerprint card and that our school has already sent my transcript of records to the Sacramento BON through expressmail last 2weeks..(which means they probably have it by now) The thing is, I haven't submitted my application form yet.

My mom tells me thatb I should apply in Vermont instead. What if my Phil license ha snot been issued yet?

Will a certificate of passing from the PRC be sufficient to prove that indeed i have taken the local boards, passed it, and that I am just waiting for my license?

Please help.

I have the same dilema, suzanne told me that since I took the exam, it would be better to send the license number from prc, as for the board rating, that i'm not so sure but maybe it might cause more delays and such so better play safe that's all. sigh 2-4 mos....:bluecry1:

i did not proceed vermont coz im not licensed yet here in the Philippines. instead i applied for new mexico. no phil license needed, no ss#, no ces. And there's no question regarding taxes. you also get your license when you pass the nclex.

For how long is your waiting period to know your eligibility with New Mexico? How about the fingerprinting? Thanks.
