Published

Was it mainly girls, with one or 2 guys?

my class started with 39 now were down to 34 with some not returning for next semester due to bad grades but we have 4 guys.

Specializes in Ortho, Neuro, Detox, Tele.

72 started, 8 guys...by the end 3 guys and 45 graduated....the white, african american, and asian guy were left.

Specializes in NICU, Post-partum.

We started off with 4 guys.

Two were coming through on the second try.

All 4 didn't make it...though one that was doing well academically that dropped out for an unknown reason.

Specializes in Medical-surgical.

Our school selects 42 applicants twice a year. My class started 41 & 1; female to male. The class behind me is 36 & 6.

We have 26 students in our class and 2 of them are guys, we had 3 but one dropped out on the first day b/c they said he had to cover up his tattoos! he walked right out of the middle of class:lol_hitti

Specializes in Emergency Nursing.

I'm not sure out of my whole graduating class what the actual ratio of men to women is but in one of my classes its 5 men to 25 women and in one of my clinicals its 2 men to 6 women. I don't know if that is the same ratio in the other classes but that's all I have to go on at the moment.

I just went to orientation today, there were 48 students about 15 guys.

Specializes in CRNA.
Out of 46 we have three guys... including myself...

It doesn't get any better than that!

Specializes in Home Health.

We started out with 4 guys, including me, in a class of 75 or so. We lost 2 and picked up 1 from our mobility program. We finished with 3 guys to around 60 ladies.

Class of eighty students, eight of us are males, graduating 2011. Half of us are normal college students, the others are ex-military. We don't really associate with each other (any of the males) which is unfortunate... but in a school that has a general population that is seventy-five percent male, maybe we are just taking a break from dudes

Specializes in Med-Surg/Trauma.

I'm surprised at some of the low numbers I'm seeing on here!

48 of us were accepted last fall and there are 18 or so guys. Over a third of my program is comprised of male students-- I would hate being in a program that was so heavily female dominated! It's a nice mix and allows for different perspectives.

Specializes in LTC, Subacute Rehab.

27 women, 2 men at graduation - started with 28 women and 2 men.
