Hey all! Just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying for the RN new grad program at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego for the Summer 2019 cohort so we can update each other about what's going on! Good luck to everyone!

No they didn't! It still says submitted!

Ah, the wait has been killing me!! Thank you so much for the reply ? I've heard the surgical unit has an awesome team, you'll do great!!

Congrats! Can I ask if you're internal? And when do you graduate?

@newgradhopeful I'm not internal. I graduated in December and passed my boards earlier this month! I just moved here from Boston in January !

I haven't heard anything back from medical or NICU

Nope. Haven't heard anything. I contacted them at the end of last week to send an update that I've passed the NCLEX. She replied with a congratulations and that she would update my file. Didn't say anything otherwise.

I applied to UC and ED as well.

Specializes in Pediatric Med/surg.

I applied to Medical and Hem/Onc and haven't heard anything yet and my application still says "submitted."

I kind of gave up hope since I applied so long ago without hearing anything, but it seems like nobody has really heard back yet so hopefully soon!

I applied to Hem/Onc & NICU. Graduating May 2019. I have not heard back & application still says submitted.
