@oceanhugger I would definitely contact the senior nurse recruiter. She was in charge of sending those! HR would be able to connect you to her if you can't get through directly.

@newgradhopeful They told me their goal was April 30th but it would likely by May 7th. I have July as my preference but told them I would be happy to be involved in any way possible. The wait is tough!

@newgradhopeful I'm keeping my fingers crossed to hear this week. Did you request July or October for PICU?

@newgradhopeful I received mine after my interview. But I know every unit does that differently as well. I think every unit works on very different timelines, I haven't heard of anyone else getting offers just yet, but definitely keeping my fingers crossed for good news!

@newgradhopeful I have filled out the reference request for PICU but have not heard anything since then. Have you heard anything more?

Did anyone interview with PICU? If so, did you receive your reference request?

@brittpowell29 From what I understand, your application gets sent to both picks ? NICU experience is definitely still relevant to PICU, so don't lose hope!!

Hi!! I'm sorry I don't have much advice. But, I applied to this as well. Can I ask when they called you for an interview? And if you are internal/external and graduated? Just trying to gauge why I didn't land an interview ? From what I do know, it's a panel interview but the number of panel members may vary. I think you will be the only one in the interview and I think it's mostly behavioral questions!

I just spoke with someone and received the same information. They will email us whether we are selected to move forward or not, so at least we will know either way. Last time I spoke with someone it was different info, so hopefully, we learn more soon ?

@hollidc Oh that's awesome! I've had classmates rotate through their ED and they loved it, but I definitely still understand what it's like to hope to hear from other units. I hope it works out, it's hard not to love San Diego ?
