265 questions yesterday! brain-drained...

Published

Wow, I am so tired....I just want to lay in my bed and not get out for a good week. :(

I had 265 questions - pretty sure I failed.....

I tried the PVT trick but I am getting the "your results are on hold"....

I have already started to come up with a new game plan to retest in 45 days hopefully and pray like a maniac. I am going to lock myself in a library/room whatever and just go over things over and over again - till I feel like i am going to pass out.

The PVT trick is not working for me - its showing the hold button, but Im sure that in a some hours - I will see the credit card page, I have already planned to face it.

My new study plan:

Lacharity book

Kaplan book

Saunders book

:( god help me. I cant get out of bed!

Did you check to see if your "delivery Successful"

Try again and make sure it has that.

Good Luck with your results.

Try to remain positive, I failed my first attempt on June 10 with 265 long and exhausting questions. I too was braindead.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I retested on July 27 and had only 75 questions and I was completed in awe from it. I did do the PVT, and got the good up the second time and my BON had my license on 7/28 posted.

Check with your online BON to see if it you passed.

My study plan the second time around:

Exam Cram 1200+ questions... must have book in my opinion.

LaCharity... a must have

I did a approx. over 3,000 questions the second time.

I reviewed content from Saunders in areas I was weak in but didn't read the book entirely.

I also purchased NCSBN's package... i feel this was great. I didn't read the material... I just did the q bank.

Again, Good Luck... believe in yourself and have faith!!!!

I'll be crossing my fingers for you!

Lisa1980, I did my NCLEX RN yesterday, and tried the PVT. I got the good pop up 3 times yesterday and twice today. You said that you saw your licence on your BON the next day after your test. How were you able to check? Did you try the PVT the first time you tested?

Moonisbright,

Please try not to beat yourself up over this. Just because the computer went up to 265 doesn't neccessarily mean that you failed. The computer continued to give you questions so you have a pretty good chance of passing. Just keep your head up and pray about it. As far as the PVT, please don't soley rely on that. I know of a friend that passed and it still allowed her to go up to the cc screen and input her info. I cannot speak for anyone else but I have witnessed her do it while her licensed had already been delivered to her residence. So please stay hopeful and don't allow that PVT to get you down. Stay optimistic and I wish you the best of luck. Please let us know when you passed! God Bless you my friend.

Thanks for all your kind words guys!

Im trying to eat some ice cream to make me feel better lol....and gonna pray all day today for a miracle...

moonisbright, I bought my exam cram and LaCharity from Barnes and Nobles... however I am very sure that you can find them on Amazon.
