I just took Nclex had 200 questions. I understand the premise of going over 75 a little. It seems to me if you got 75 questions you either passed or failed miserably. Full amount of questions it is a toss up. It seemed to me they kept going over and over the same type of question and I am worried I could never get it right and failed. prioritizing and chemo?. What is consensus with a large amount of questions but not all???

we "all" worry whether we got 75 questions, 265 questions or anywhere inbetween. we "all" worry whether we did or didn't have priority questions, medication questions, whether we think we got the last question right or wrong. there is truly absolutely no way to guess. the only absolute opinion is the answer you get from the board. all we can do is worry and try to handle it constructively

I wouldn't stress to much. I just found out yesterday I passed with 175 questions. I know exactly how you feel being right in the middle of the questions amount. Let us know how you did, I am sure you did fine!! ;)

I got 200 questions too, and i felt like this is going on and on , I too am thinking i failed because of the amount of questions i got . I am looking at your story and this is giving me hope. no one on here can relate to me and my story . i felt like i was guessing and yes i got repeats and it was messing with my head , i hope that i passed though i am in california and they are waiting for ever to post we do not have the option of early results . So 200 questions may not be a bad thing ....I am hoping and praying for your sucess story

:monkeydance::monkeydance: Congrats!! I am happy to hear that you did well for NCLEX. At this point, I am sure that the # of questions is a mute issue as long as you can start moving on with your life, now. Sit back, have a drink, and forget about those books. You will have plenty to read with policy and procedure manuals when you get hired! Welcome, new nurse!!

thanks cupcakes168. nice words of hope and encouragement because my computer shut down at 203 questions. waiting until wednesday to hear my results.
