I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?

i tried the credit card trick to reschedule, but it wouldnt let me, so I felt a little happy that i might have passed.

i paid $8 on pearson vue on Saturday Morning, I took the NCLEX on Thursday.... and I passed! I used a little bit of the questions on a Saunders disc...i do not recommend that, they were so basic....i used ATI/CARP it is a program my school uses, and it was almost exactly like the NCLEX if a little harder.

good luck!!

I took my nclex last year..Stopped at question 75 and I thought it was the end of me because I really thought that I have failed..But then everybody told me that I shouldn't worry too much because usually people pass at question 75.. I searched the web for other people who had the same thing going on..Was terrified for the days of waiting..But I guess they were right because I passed!I was so relieved......:nurse:

Hey everyone!

I just found out I passed the NCLEX! I was almost dying after I took it, 75 questions, almost passed out upon standing up because I was so nervous! Good luck to everyone out there!

I took NCLEX yesterday pvt says I passed but I'm worried because my last two questions were not higher level even though 85% of my test was priority delegation and sata, I guess I'll find out tomorrow!:heartbeat

I did pass even though my last 2 questions didn't seem to be higher level questions. I guess the NCLEX lady wanted to give me a break! Good Luck to everyone else!:yeah:

nurse_pink..please HELP!!! I am having extreme anxiety. Just took NCLEX today and am freaking out. I want to call Anderson review course and sign up to take the prep course again!! Ahhhhh! I had 75 questions and then it shut off. My questions did not seem that hard, and bc I am not a good test taker I got so nervous I started thinking they weren't hard enough-for example, priority, infection control, only a few SATA, and no med calcs, diagrams, fill in blanks...

I did have a few med questions but seemed too simple-for example cough is s/e of Ace Inhib, and the last question seemed too easy, asking me what to chk when administering potassium--of course apical pulse was the answer, for was only cardiac related...I am so scared tho, had a lot of muskuloskeletal and didn't know those, and think it may have started going downhill from there...

I feel like I know there is a chance, I got some correct...why didn't it give me a chance to redeem myself after 75? I studied so hard, yet feel I had the hardest time answering even the delegation questions!

What should I do?? I am freaking out!!!!!!!!

I took nclex last year got 75 items but failed, I took it again last feb 12, still waiting for the results, im dying while waiting, can't describe the feelings, i dont want to try the PVT pop up coz im scared, Im just checking the BON website since feb 14, but my name is not there yet, DOes it mean i Failed again for the 2nd time... ???

@wannabehelp 1st thing is pray...God has not given us the spirit of fear now if the majority of your questions prority delegation sata and infection control that is a good sign if u studied then maybe u new a lot I studied a lot because my school requires we pass Hesi to graduate. So Ive been preparing for NCLEX since Aug '10. My fellow classmate had me not knowing what expect because they said it wasnt hard just weird im like what the heck is that suppose to mean. I didnt think it was hard I was surprised it was sooo much priority though I would say google the pvt it has worked and been accurate for all 6 of my classmates who have tried it. I pray u passed dont count yourself out where is your faith? I prayed for ya now u pray for favor til your results r in!!!! @oct28 I took mines on a wed it didnt show up til the following mon.

Thank you both for responding, we're all in this together and all going to the same job :) I have been a nervous wreck, but am praying for a pass and praying for all of you! I googled to see what this PVT trick is, am not sure if I can do the PVT trick cause I may freak out and not sleep if it asks for my cc..LOL pheeew deep breathe, pray..........Thank you again for your support! And october 28, hang in there!!! :)

i passed at 75, despite the fact that for the two or three days afterwards i couldn't sleep because i was convinced i had completely flunked.

If the NCLEX only knew what it does to pre-nurses...;) I woke up this am and felt like I should not get out of bed. I am a pretty happy, motivated person most of the time! Right now I am a mess!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll do the PVT trick later, but I am in school full-time towards my NP-so don't want to ruin my day or work that needs to be done towards school right now Ughhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

75 questions and passed. I felt like it was the easiest test I'd ever taken, in and out in 35 minutes.
