I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?

ok. so I took the nclex at the beginning of june. I went into the test site with confidence and came out in tears. I only had 75 questions which i thought i would feel good about BUT i didnt! I felt like i totally studied the wrong things and the meds were ridiculous (meds i had NEVER heard of)! I waited two painfully long days and paid to get the results....I PASSED!!! I still to this day have no idea how i pulled it off. I prayed and prayed... ALOT! Everyone that I know that has had 75 questions has passed! Good luck to all! :)
Hi. I took the NCLEX RN today. It cut off at 75 questions and i feel like i am going to vomit. I had endless "select all that apply" questions and lots and lots of "which medication would you question?" I took a Kaplan course and studied nonstop for 3 weeks. When the test shut off at 75 questions I was not feeling too great about it. I feel like i didn't get a chance to "shine" if you know what i mean! Congrats to those who have passed!

one of my teachers told us that if the time is running out don't rush threw your answers because when the time runs out the computer looks at you last 30 answers and grades you like that. So maybe even though you ran out of time, your answers were correct and you passed. Good luck and let us know how you did!!
