I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?

I took the test this morning and also felt the urge to vomit. My test shut off at 76 questions. What does that mean? Did I have to get that last question right in order to pass? I studied with Kaplan and felt pretty confident going into the test. Now I just have no idea. Best Wishes!!

Took exam July 1st and machine shut off at 75 questions. Found out the next day that I had PASSED!

Passed with 75 questions! :nurse:

I have 75 Qs, finished in an hour, and felt pretty good after leaving the test. 48 hours later, I passed. A week later, my license number is active :nurse:

Wondering what you are doing to study. I also took test and felt like I guessed all questions. Did pvt and got bad pop up!!!

I feel you there. I took mine today, had 80 questions and I feel like a dummy that never attended nursing school. I had several SATA and priority and medications i had no clue whatthey were for. I felt like I did not study even after doing 150-225 questions per day for almost 8 weeks. I cannot eat or even sleep right now because I know I failed. i came home with the worst migraine headache. I do not know what else to do at this point.

someone tell what is this PVT and pop up..clueless

PVT or Pearson Vue Trick is trying to reregister to take your exam through Pearson Vue the same day after taking boards then getting either a "good" pop-up (you can't reregister so supposedly you passed) or the "bad" pop-up taking you to the credit card page (you failed). There is an entire thread on this trick and I have to say it was accurate for me and all in my graduating class that used it.

Took my NCLEX today and tried to re-register on the pearsonvue site - it wouldn't let me. That means I passed, right? Is this "PVC" test still accurate?

I took my NCLEX exam last Wednesday & found out I passed on Friday by going to my state board of nursing & looking in the license verification by typing in my name. That's how I found out I passed.

I took my exam on 7/1, did the PVC that evening and got the same results. The following day, received and email from my state's BON that said I passed. Congratulations!:yeah:
