I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?
Hi, newbie here..Took my exam last June 3 and it stopped at 75 after 1 hour and 45 minutes:bluecry1: Had about 3 calculations, 4 SATAs, I ecg diagram, 10 meds (6 of those I'm not familiar with) tons of prioritizations and health teachings questions. And yes it was hard:banghead: Two days later, a friend of mine checked my name on Michigan BON site. MY name pop up with a 'pending' license number, don't have SSN number since I'm not a US citizen..I was too scared to check it for myself or even to use the computer after the test..Anyway, just checked the site a few minutes ago and still don't have a license number....My friends tell me that if my name is listed on the BON site, it means I pass, even if my license number is still pending. I'm still waiting for my official result letter, it would probably take about a month:no: I did not try the PV trick though..Don't really know if I pass. I want to believe that I pass, but I just don't know...
i took nclex on june 17, this year. my computer shuts off at 75. im not really sure what will be the verdict. hu hu hu. im so desperate to see my result. got SATA questions too, 3 computations and more on prioritizations.. california doesnt participate in quick results... ohhhhhhhhhhhh i need few more days to see how it goes.
I took NCLEX-RN on Thursday and shut off at 75. I didn't think that I missed enough ?s to fail, but it really didn't feel like I did well enough to pass...if that makes any sense. I was sick to my stomach until I did the PVT and got the good pop-up, and everything was confirmed this morning when quick results said I passed!
i took the nclex too last june 17 and shuts off at 75. my state is california so we dont have any quick results. i hope i made it too.. what do you mean by pop up? i tried the pearsonvue trick on the following day but i got all error on page despite my 10 times tries. but today, i tried it again, but it led me all the way to the credit card page. so what does this meant? two different results in pearsonvue trick..

On the BON website, you've passed after your license number is posted. It says "pending" because you applied for the license.

Several people were getting the error message the past few days, but it seems to have resovled. Normally the credit card page indicates you did not pass. You should always wait for the offical results though.

Hi there! I recently took the NCLEX on June 17th in PA, when the computer shut off at 75 questions I just knew I failed. My last ten questions were all medications that I didn't know and I must have had 15 SATA. But even with that horrible feeling of doom I found out I passed yesterday.:)
So far everyone I have talked to has felt like they failed when they walked out and in reality they were just fine. I think it is normal to be convinced that you failed, especially the way the CAT works, if it's getting hard then you are answering questions at the upper level. ( which is good!)
My best advice for anyone tackling this beast of a test is to study hard (I did over 4,000 questions to prepare), talk to your family, cry if you need to, and keep in mind that you passsed nursing school.....you are ready to do this! You CAN do this!
I hope that was helpful?
Best wishes!

thanks this greatly helps.. im still waiting for my result.. too much to think about but i continued praying that i wont be losing hope.. ?
I literally just finished the NCLEX-RN exam about an hour and a half ago. It shut off at 75 questions and I am EXTREMELY nervous. I truly did not expect the exam to be so difficult and detail-oriented. The six or so meds I got I was not very familiar with. It it helpful for me to know that most of the others feel they failed actually passed, but wow the realization that there is a chance I failed just sucks. Never failed an exam, graduated with highest distinction and ATI said I had a 98% chance of passing the first time...did thousands of questions but I feel like I was so ill-prepared still. I wish that even when I thought I was ready, I still studied. Wow what a stressful few days this is going to be.
