I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?
ndame2010 said:i took nclex twice both 75q and failed..also pvt works 101% coz both exam brought me to cc page....had Kaplan first exam then saunders 2nd exam.i dont know where to start now..im so sad about it,im planning to take an LVN exam, do you know what are the requirements? but i will still take the nclex in coming months .Do you have any ideas what did come out in exam now since they changed the passing rate or is it the same questions?because my friend told me the questions are different now like lots of charting..,and he said if you take nclex for California and you got 2 or 3 math calculations in 75q then you will fail..but if you got 1 then there's possibility you will pass...i dont know if its true.. thanks..
Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know you are not alone and I know exactly how you feel. I took my NCLEX(RN) on Monday May the 24th and failed. I went all the way to 265 questions and the state sent me a notice saying I just barely failed...still very sad about it. I feel like a failure and I'm not sure why. Sucks.
Anyway, keep your head up and take it again.
Hopefully, we will be okay the next time!!!
I ::just:: took the NCLEX-RN this morning, and it shut off at 75 questions...I'm so nervous I didn't pass, and really walked out of there feeling ready to puke Thanks to everyone that's posted positive results - made me feel a lot better, though I'm sure this anxiety won't go away until I know for sure!
i just took the nclex rn today and it shut off at 75. I like many others, felt as if I guessed on most of the test. What a horrible feeling after doing great in nursing school. Now I guess i just have to wait. I did the pvt and got the pass message but I want to see pass before i believe it!!
Ok, I am very sick to my stomach right now. I just took the NCLEX-RN and the computer just shut off, I don't even feel as if it were at 75 questions (although, I was told 75 is the minimum). I graduated from a very good Nursing Program at the top of my class and felt as if the test was extremely difficult. I feel like I had to guess the entire test which really pulled the rug out from under me! I can barely stand waiting the 48 hrs. just to hear FAILURE! Has anyone else had this same experience? Is there a possibility that I still passed? I need some words of wisdom right now!!

I felt totally the same way. I had 75 questions and felt like I guessed on most of them!! Check the pearson vue trick, it works. I got the good pop up message and found out that I had passed 48 hours later. Keep your chin up. You probably did great.
Wow...the pvt really does work. I got the pop up and today when I checked online for my state board....I was issued an RN license effective yesterday. I can't believe it....I passed! No need to even pay the $8.00 to pearsonvue. I got mY answer in 24 hours my looking at the state website! Thanks ice2015 for your words of encouragement!
congratulations to all who passed their nclex.....i too took the nclex yesterday and the comp shut off at 75...i felt really confident when i left the test center but when i did the pvt i got the bad pop up....i feel really down and discouraged...i feel life my whole life is falling apart...i guess i just have to keep trying...does anyone have any suggestions on how i can prepare for my next test???? i am really desperate......
Hey everyone, Took the test today and the computer shut off at 75?s I guessed on EVERY QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!! I was at the top of my class and have NEVER left a test feeling that bad about it. I did the trick and got the good message...
Has anyone ever failed and still received the good message with the pearsonvue trick???
DYING TO FIND OUT MY RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need some closure. I got out of the test and cried for the whole hour drive home. Would really like some reassurance that the trick really works and the I really passed:(
Hey, The PVT REALLY DOES WORK!!!! I had 75 ?s and was sure I had failed! Cried the whole way home on Friday sure that I had failed. Did the PVT... got the good pop up and had a little hope. Veiwed the quick results today and I PASSED :) :) :) The PVT trick really does work. They may change it in the future but for me and my friend it was right on. Just wanted to reassure future NCLEXer's that the trick works. (As long as pearsonvue doesn't change it) Lots of love ZZ
Four of my friends and I had 75?s. All felt like we failed... and all passed :) I think thinking that you failed is good bcs that means the difficulty level of the questions is going up. Just wanted you all to know the results. WOOHOO and good luck to all who are going to take it:)
RN :) :) :)
