Did our continental plates shift? Did we just decide to become a country that establishes a selected monarchy on the will of a few? What happened to voting? What happened to our elected officials? Do they blindly follow the party? Do political parties not hold elections anymore? These questions have unfolded since President Joe Biden stepped down from the democratic election. It's up to us, the concerned American citizens, to question and demand answers about this shift in our political landscape.
When did America become a monarchy? The " hierarchy" in the democratic party forced a democratically elected President who won the primary to step down from office. The time to decide was a year ago. However, they did nothing, and we, the people, are in a situation that we never asked. I am demanding answers. To some of these valid questions?

I see she taking a bus trip to Florida.
Unfortunately with so limited time, targeting swing states with lots of electoral college members is what she has to do first and foremost.
Florida is not a swing state. It's been solidly blue, but only a short while. Studies show a majority of people moving here are Republican. Still if they are young they might not necessarily vote republican in November.
It's been noted lately that Trump has put investments in advertising in Florida lately suggesting that perhaps there might be some concerns in his camp. Prior to Harris, Florida was a given for Trump. Trump's lead is solid but Harris has risen in the polls. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Trump loses Florida so can't blame her for trying.
DeSantis is losing his grip, his plan to give state parks to investors for golf courses and hotels was met with so much resistance he had to back down. State parks are wildly popular here with snowbirds and residents. It's not a given that the population of Florida wants everything republicans want.

In my opinion, the Democrats should prioritize reproductive rights. When the Supreme Court, with justices appointed by former President Donald Trump, overturned Roe v. Wade, they not only restricted access to abortion but also took away individuals' autonomy over their reproductive choices. This decision disproportionately affects those who face reproductive challenges through no fault of their own, hindering the growth and well-being of American families.
I would like to state a couple of observations:
-about 92% of this thread consists of the opinions of 3 to four people
-why has nobody stated the obvious that the real reason you want to vote D is for nurse job security
I see it like this. Democrats can help people by increasing aid to Americans. Republicans can help people by increasing the independence of Americans. Liken this comparison to a disease process that needs to be modulated by medications, procedures, diet, and exercise. On the one hand, yes sometimes we do need aid. Contrarily, without freedoms aids can actually compound and exacerbate the original illness.
As for me, I am a proud GOP supporter going on about 6 years now. Trump was actually the man that humanized and simplified the Republican plight and struggle for me.
I do not have a source for this: I head that hospitals are now automatically requiring all patients to pay upwards of 50% out of pocket for all incurred expenses. Feel free to fact check me on this.

It must be Trump's inability to provide a plan for Healthcare while trying to end the ACA that convinced you that Trump was the smart choice. Or maybe it was his inability to provide any reasonable leadership firing a national health emergency that drew you to Trump. It surely couldn't have been the racism, the misogyny or history of cheating small businesses out of payment. Hopefully Trump's lies about elections and his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results weren't the thing that you think was a humanizing of the "republican plight".
Maybe you could explain what that means. What was the republican plight that Trump humanized and simplified? Is it the same thing that I refer to as consolidation of grievances?

Welcome to the donkey den.
I am 1 of 2 (as far as I know) non democrats on this forum.
Prepare to be called a "Nazi" / "cult victim".
Please do not get bullied into not providing your opinion. This forum, although inconsequential, is a reflection of the dominate left trying to suppress anything that goes against their narrative that we see in media etc.....
Welcome Annon.
As to your observations:
1. Yes, very few comment on this forum. I don't know why; I wish there more.
2. I would disagree with your second premise. I personally will be voting for a Democratic ticket for multiple reasons. As I am retired, I am not voting for job security, but for the preservation of social security and medicare.
Yes, having good basic health is ideal, but some of us have inherited genetic conditions that we had no choice in acquiring. There are effective treatments but the cost is staggering.
I think the whole health care system is a mess. The ACA was a start, but was weakened by doing away with the mandate and not creating a public option. The influx of private equity, and the near monopoly of health insurance companies is not a sustainable model.
I think it is a false flag to demonize undocumented immigrants.

I'm not a Democrat. I held elected office as a libertarian. Before that I was a republican. Now I'm an independent.
Discussing differences of opinion using facts and evidence is not an example of "suppressing anything that goes against their narrative". Disagreement is not suppression or oppression.
Just for giggles, are you also one of the donkeys in the den?

Who are you voting for? Independent? Right........
"disagreement" is not "suppression /oppression " indeed. However to disagree with a donkey sees ad hominiem and guilt by association fallacy.
