I'm taking the NCLEX tomorrow and am wondering what to round to on the math calcs with fill in the blank type format. Thanks!

As I understood from reading in Saunders, they will tell you what to round to in the question. Somewhere after the question it will probably state "Round to the nearest ___". That's how I understood it would be.

I had this same question once, I think I posted it here & from what I recall, no one at that time had any fill-in-the-blank math questions, they had multiple choice ones.

Before you start your NCLEX, there is a practice session, which includes all types of the new format questions. I had a fill in the blank math question. It tells you what to round it to, and in the answer, it has what form it needs to be in (mg, cc, etc). Good luck-Andrea
