PVT trick

Hey guys,I took my NCLEX today and the computer shut off on me at 149 questions. I walked out of the test center terrified and freaking out thinking I failed. I waited half an hour after the test to try the trick and it let me go through with the credit card process. Now I know this trick has worked for a lot of people. I retried the trick a couple of hours later and it still has not changed. I honestly thought it was extremely hard. I received all types of questions...select all...place in order...pictures...for goodness sake I even got stupid EKG strips! Seriously??? I got every type of question style you can imagine. I'm hoping and praying to god that I still have a chance in passing this thing. I've heard students who took the nclex tried the trick and it let them go through the process but at the end they got the letter saying they passed.

That's all a normal feeling. All I can say is wait for your letter. Did you try checking your name on the BRN site?

So im confused I took the NCLEX VN test yesterday and waited 3 hours to do the PVT and got the good pop up my test stopped at 85... probably 50 questions were select all that apply med questions... 5 place in order questions... and read charts... look at pictures ... it was so hard i thought i failed forsure... so even though I got the good pop up it can still mean I didnt pass??? Im confused??? Also I live In CA so theres no quick results here ...

You shouldn't be confused :) YOU PASSED! I also got a lot of SATAs, calculations and chart reading questions. I also got few EKG strips. My computer stopped at the 85th question. Got a good pop up as well after I tried PVT! :)) It only mean one thing, You passed! :))) Congratulations!

Ah that makes me feel so much better thanks !!!! how long did it take to get your results in the mail im in SD CALI though so idk if that makes a difference... also I was wondering if anyone new when it would be safe to start applying for jobs I got the good pop up but no letter in the mail yet... but I have heard of people getting hired even before they take the NCLEX ??

For us that live in cali it takes about a month max. It sucks!

When I got my letter,I sent the $150 fee next day.Then it took 2 weeks before I received my license card.

I just took my exam today. It stopped at 75 questions. I had a couple of SATA questions and some ekg strips. I felt fairly confident because I've heard getting this types of questions are a good indicator of doing well on the exam. Anyway, i went home and tried the pearson vue trick and it brought me to the cc page. I hope my situation is the same as hazlenut88. I have one question, How did you get your results one day after? In NY, were made to wait 48 hours for unofficial results. Im praying that i pass even though i was directed to the cc page.
