PVT trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey guys,I took my NCLEX today and the computer shut off on me at 149 questions. I walked out of the test center terrified and freaking out thinking I failed. I waited half an hour after the test to try the trick and it let me go through with the credit card process. Now I know this trick has worked for a lot of people. I retried the trick a couple of hours later and it still has not changed. I honestly thought it was extremely hard. I received all types of questions...select all...place in order...pictures...for goodness sake I even got stupid EKG strips! Seriously??? I got every type of question style you can imagine. I'm hoping and praying to god that I still have a chance in passing this thing. I've heard students who took the nclex tried the trick and it let them go through the process but at the end they got the letter saying they passed.

I took my test today, went all the way to 265 with 20 minutes left. was totally wiped out when I left. Tried the PVT with much hesitation, got the good pop-up. I hope and PRAY this means I passed, I graduated-RN in 2010. I have studied like crazy.

Hope you hear some good news soon! Let us know how you did! I'm playing the waiting game, too. :)

update: Got my letter today...results are FAIL. Everyday I was checking on the BRN to see my name pop up with RN at the end...but everytime I checked my name it just didn't feel right. It didn't feel right to see my name on the BRN I don't know why. I am glad that I failed to be honest. Didn't pass with 149 questions but you know what...it's not the end of the world. I have another shot at this and WILL make sure I make it. At first I started crying when I got the letter, but those tears dried up 40 seconds into it. I thought to myself I wasn't meant to be a nurse...this isn't what I'm supposed to do.

But I stopped myself right there. Gathered my thoughts together and said no...I'm not going to let a test ruin my future. A future that I am meant to see as an RN. I am going to make sure I study twice as hard for my second time around and will pass. Determination is the key here and going through obstacles and failures like this is what makes me push myself harder...and it is what makes me stronger.

After all...I will be an RN who needs to have a tough skin. :smokin:

Oh, sorry to hear that. You can do it! Just never give up. If yoiu are called to be a nurse, you will be a nurse no matter what. If your heart is into it, you will get the license. Believe in yourself. As long as you believe, you can make it happen! *hugs* Go go go! Remember that you're already a nurse by heart, the license is just for formality. You are a nurse. Don't forget that! :)

I promised I would share my story with everyone once all the torture was over. I took nclex pn on jan 9 (in Cali), when I came out of there I honestly in my mothers life felt like I only knew about five correct :) I honestly thought I had failed. The whole drive home was just a nightmare. I got home I decided I would do the trick. It was the good pop up. It was the only thing that got me through three weeks of pure torture. Every day I tried the trick and it was always the same. I just want those that are in such anxiety as I was to know that you can trust in the trick even if u feel u bombed it. :) hope my story helps :)

Don't study from any other book but exam cram. Pearson vue makes the books as well as the nclex :). I hope u do well .. I pray for u. :)

OMG, just check MBON and it shows RN with a license # next to my name, I am soooo happy. Also checked pearson vue and it still does not offer Quick results yet, so I've saved myself $8.

AWESOME!!! Congratulations! ME TOO! I just checked Pearson Vue's Quick Results and I PASSED! I was quite dubious after leaving the testing center. And I had my doubts about that PVT, but I got the "good popup." So maybe it is legit. Anyway, so happy for everyone who has passed! And for those who haven't, don't give up! It can be a hard test. Hang in there, take a deep breath, and conquer it.

Thanks, emptyboxcars :) you can also check your BON, your license may already show up there too. PVT does work!
