  1. It was a private school. And yesss it felt wonderful =)
  2. I tested 5 times and just passed last weekend. I know how you feel but you have a good amount of time to study...make sure to take one week off to gather yourself. Try a different study method this time around. Good luck.
  3. Why would I be sarcastic about it? Read my recent post. Im not ashamed of the fact that it took me 5 times to pass the boards, what matters is that I passed it. No hard feelings.
  4. I passed my boards on the 5th attempt by using only Saunders
  5. Dont give up, I passed it for the 5th time this saturday. Keep going at it
  6. Thanks!!! NCLEX 4000 was ok...I prefered ATI more over that. Either way utilizing both helped me practice on HOW to answer the questions. That was the key... And no I did not read page by page. I have been studying and taking the NCLEX since january so I have learned alot each time. Whatever I knew I skimmed over, but things I was unclear of yes I did read more in depth. I would highly recommend reading and highlighting the red writings that they have after each topic...those are important things to know. I did alot of highlighting(important facts ofcourse like interventions, when to call the DR. Etc). Good luck guys! =)
  7. I tested wed oct 23 and saw my name on the brn today the 26th.

  9. Thanks guys!!! I took it Wednesday oct 23 and found out today the 26! I checked the BRN on the breeze.
  10. I can officially say I am a Registered Nurse...BOY DOES IT FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! I tested for the 5th time this Wednesday, got 264...NOT 265 questions and left that test center feeling really confused. All these thoughts went through my mind, why didn't it go all the way? Why didn't I get any drag and drops, any EKG's, and hotspots? You know what...that doesn't matter!!! What matters is that I MADE IT! I DID NOT do the PVT trick this time around, I decided to wait for my official results. For the past 2 days I had been checking the BRN to see if my name would show up....2 hours ago....it did. I stood there making sure I was reading correctly...I froze, I said "I passed, huh, what?":woot:. Then it finally hit me and I started screaming! I ran inside the house yelling "I PASSED, I PASSED..." The look on my parents face, the tears that ran down those cheeks...it made me the happiest girl ever. I finally made them proud...I finally made my DAD proud. His little girl is finally an RN!!!!! For those that are curious as to what I did; I read Saunders 5th edition and did ATI questions along with NCLEX 4000. I also took a look at the 35 page study guide that has been going around but didn't focus on that so much. IT IS POSSIBLE!!! DO NOT GIVE UP!! NEVER!!!!! GO FUTURE RN's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I was in the same situation as you...failed it 4 times. And in two days I am testing for my 5th attempt and this time I WILL PASS! Good luck, dont give up. I haven't yet!
  12. Take a break. One week maximum. Then get back to studying but a different game plan. You didn't make it the first time but that's in the past now, look forward to retaking it and passing the second time around. Good luck!
  13. I took it for the 4th time yesterday & didn't mske it
  14. How did you like ncsbn and hurst? I'm considering of either one or maybe both
