Good grief. America's Frontline Doctors, a group of quacks who claim to know more than actual experts are pushing the use of ineffective parasite med to prevent and or treat COVID.

On a personal note, my hubby works for a farm store and has overheard customers explaining to each other how to dose animal wormer for people. This is in a community that is anti-mask, anti-vaccine, let's just all get infected. Up until, you know, they need hospitalization .

Why is it interesting? Because it confirms your bias?

From the the disclaimer linked to your link:

VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.

Please read the threads on AN about VAERS and educate yourself to what us really represents.  It's raw data aggregated without any context which makes it meaningless to people who aren't statisticians.

I don't have a bias. Just curiosity.  You don't find it at all strange?  That is a pretty big jump from where I stand?  You don't think so?  Do YOU have a bias?

But you are the one that posted Covid deaths on VAERS and we are trying to explain to you that you are referring to meaningless, unreliable data .  One can't draw any conclusions from what you read on it's pages.  Garbage in, garbage out.

Open VAERS takes the data from VAERS and makes it understandable to people who can't do the research themselves.  They are saying that you can extract the same data, yourself, if you want to take the time to do it.

Yeah, you have a bias, everyone does.  That's not bad unless you deny and nurture that bias by employing misinformation and conspiratorial opinions to feed your beliefs.  The widespread concern that you just expressed about VAERS is part of a broad misinformation campaign on social media and conservative content.  Tucker Carlson is guilty of spreading that fear mongering in the form of "questioning". It's just antivaxx  nonsense dressed up to pass as healthy skepticism and analytical thinking by the targeted audience.

In other words, you are spreading antivaccination propaganda and misinformation.

I absolutely have a bias. I am biased toward data that has been reviewed and analyzed by experts.

There is no way from perusing these numbers to ascertain what is real and what has been reported by a bunch of Russian bots and anti-vax trolls.

Sure. You take that data and then what are you going to do with it? Do you know ANYTHING ELSE about those reports or cases...any context at all? Will you have any demographics or specific medical history?

What exactly do you believe that the average person can extrapolate from that raw and unfiltered data? I hope that you might begin to comprehend the folly of what you are suggesting.

Another example, Alex Jones..... Sandy Hook misinformation and disinformation.

Another losing case for conspiracy theorists. Today Jones got some comeuppance when he lost two more lawsuits related to his lies about Sandy Hook. He's going to be paying up the Wazoo.

Wanna bet eventually the same will occur for the Ivermectin conspiracists?

In EVERY ASPECT of the life of the stupid and ignorant, where misfortune and disaster is always around the corner, anti vaxxers, anti maskers and Ivermectin believers, will die or suffer horribly for their choices as is currently happening. And, you can't do anything to help them, just protect yourself and elect the right people to make the legislations to protect yourself and your family.

I've learned that it's wasted energy to even try to help them and very likely it's natural law to cull the herds.

I literally just read a conversation on facebook:

Young dialysis patient goes to hospital with Covid. He was dismayed to be getting medicines that "can cause kidney failure." He checked himself out of the hospital and is literally taking the horse paste version of Ivermectin-this is by his own admission.  Many of his friends are applauding him for his common sense. A lot of them stated they used "the paste" with great results. A few caution him to make sure he is taking the correct dose...he says he is confident that he is. Another friend offers to help him get a physician to prescribe the human formulation that he can get from a compounding pharmacy and he refuses, saying he is good with "the paste" that he got at "Homers feed and supply in Hildebran." Unbelievable.

This young man is a body builder and pretty young and fit in spite of his comorbidities. He may survive this - IN SPITE OF, NOT BECAUSE OF-Ivermectin. At least I hope he does.

All of this behavior is the direct result of reading misinformation on social media.

Sometimes the truth is actually stranger than fiction...
