While i was floated to pedia. the staff nurse and the nursing aid where shouting words inappropriately to each other (more of a clawless cat-fight). they where arguing that the patient didnt get nebulized at the right time because of the nursing aids...

There should be an ethical way in handling company interviews. Ex. Taking time to at least text back if you didnt get the job saying" thank you for you time and effort but unfortunately...etc" you know things like that. This will make you to move on ...

Well they have around 47 regular nsg. Staff as a primary hospital and could need some manpower but instead hiring nurses they kinda gave the nsg.aids some additional task nurse.Esteve

What i hate most is that the nurse is "like pointing fingers" while shouting to the aid...and the aid just sat there trying to listen until she cant handle it no more nurse.Esteve

Thats so true @jadelpn but according to the hospital policy the aid can give neb treatments but thats only treatment they can administer. Their prime task is getting vital signs and bed prep and taking I&O then put it on the charts. And yes it so...

I have been a resort nurse for 6 months and we do necessary means aslong its not invasive, restriction is an independent work of an OHNs at least here in the philippines and aslong you can justify your nursing orders thats ok... nurse.Esteve
