I'll be moving to my home state soon and was curious what restrictions LPNs had in Arkansas. I can't find anything on Google..

Worth it or no? The local LPN program is only 12, 000 but hard to get in, and I'd rather avoid all the icky stuff. I want to work in the health field but also as a "receptionist" so I find that being a CMA fits me perfectly.

Can nurses carry a calculator on the job to calculate dosages? I'm terrible at math when it comes to solving problems in my head. It's like my brain gets scrambled. Due to this I'm getting discouraged about becoming an LPN.

Well he's also getting a degree in criminal justice so he can move up the ladder quicker. But yes, police academys usually last about 11 months..at least in my area.

Because the tech school that has the LPN program doesn't have credits that transfer to just any college. They only have an agreement with 3 colleges. I wouldn't be able to go to any of those three because we'd have to move when I graduate.

The police academy starts this fall and ends sometime in 2015. I would do an associates degree but the only thing that is in my town is a BSN.
