Does anyone know when MDC starts sending out acceptances for the Accelerated Program for Fall 2010?

Hello, I am planning on taking the CNA test in Florida and I was curious how long it takes from the time you fill out your application to the time they approve you to take the test. Does it take a bit for them to do the background search, etc?

Everylasting, thank you for your response. I did my fingerprints and now I just have to wait. Do you happen to know how much CNA's typically start at in S. Florida? Is there a pay difference between retirement home and the hospital?

What textbook did you use in your CNA training classes? I am thinking about challenging the exam and hopefully working as a CNA while I am finishing up nursing school. I have a couple of links for videos, but I'd like to buy a textbook off of amazo...

My GPA for my prerequisites was a 4.0.

Does anyone know if the online American Heart Association CPR class plus an in-person skills check is adequate for MDC? It would work WAY better with my schedule if I could take most of it online.

Apparently MDC is aware that we cannot make a fingerprinting appointment before July 12, and that is ok. We just have to get the first available.
