Hello.
So, I have a unique problem. My school is very strict about dress code while at clinicals. I have extremely large feet and have been unable to locate any shoes that will conform with this dress code. Shoes must be all white, non-athletic, closed-toed and enclosed back. Normally no prob, except I am a size 13 6-7E wide foot(in case you are wondering that about the width of a cd jewel case).
Any suggestions?

Try Zappos.com they have a ton of shoes in all sizes. I mean all sizes. Good luck!

They won't make an exception in your case by allowing you to wear a plain white sneaker?

Three words for you that are probably going to be burned into your mind for a good remainder of your life:
They will have what you need.

I hear you on the problem with shoes. I have a morton's toe, and it makes shoe shopping extremely difficult. I talked to my clinical instructor and she was very understanding. Try that!

I'm sure if you explain to your instructors about your hard time finding a certain size shoe they won't throw you out. Just ask them if you can wear some something different. If that doesn't work try searching online.

I wear a size 14, not wide at least. Our school is understanding with the athletic portion, and will let us wear them as long as they're all white, no trim, no deep waffle soles, and no logos. Laces must be kept white at all times, so I probably should stock up or plan on washing them with my whites.....

Have you ever looked at Berkenstocks. I know they are pretty expensive but they run wide in the regular sizes. I am not sure if they sell them in a specific wide width or not.

They should make concessions to students with issues like this -- just ask (or don't, just get the white tennis and let them know why you are wearing them if you are called out on it -- you'd be suprised how many CIs couldn't care less about the school's "official" dress code).
We have someone in our class who was too large to wear the "required" uniform. They just bought something else. They're not going to kick you out of school for having big feet.

So...what happened, did you find shoes or talk to your instructor.
Hello everyone!
I found a pair of white sneakers in my size from zappos.com. Unfortunately, the rules clearly state the shoes must be "non-athletic". However, my instructor is a very kind and helpful individual who was sympathetic to my issue. The only thing that worries me is the fact ill have a different instructor at every rotation. So it looks like I will have to have this discussion at least a few more times before I graduate.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who responded. I will have no difficulties finding shoes in the future.
