I took the nclex and failed I had a lot of priority questions and I tried to go with Maslow, ABCD, and acute over chronic and still had issues picking an answer. They all seemed to be so similar.
Also, which would matter more potassium of 3.4 or sodium of 125?

Sodium
I thought so too but then people started saying different things like sodium is dangerous if it goes below 115 but potassium is more important because it affects the heart muscle.

I would think it would be K? Even though sodium is low.

The answer is sodium. They are at risk for seizing. Good luck on your next round!
Have you tried nclex mastery it's 30 dollars. It's been helpful to me. It has labs, content.
I have the free version of that app. I'm ok with values and things like that. It's the priority questions that get me. I got a lot of questions that were priority and all the answers seemed very similar. I tried using ABC's, maslow, acute over chronic and still had issues.
Thanks for clarifying, ICUman.

I would think for NCLEX purposes heart arrhythmias would be priority over seizures. Of course, in the real world the sodium level would be the priority.
I know. I was going back and forth on it for a while.

Did you read the priority and delegation by lecharity? That seems to be a major study tool

Depends on the arrhythmia. Some, such as Sinus Bradycardia or Atrial Fibrillation aren't particularly harmful.
Seizures not so much.
