understanding words the nclex asks you
How do you do on nclex mastery? Maybe you should try to take as many questions as you can and read the rationales really well. Nurse lab has free question that are good for review. Here is an example, not a great one though. A nurse would need to reinforce teaching if a client says he/she isn't going to finish taking their antibiotics. If I come across a question like that on the app maybe I can help more.

Question help
Not taking the blood thinners could cause death do to a formation of a clot that could travel to the lung. But the knee gatch with the pillow can cut off circulation. And not taking the prescribed pain med is not life threating.

Well I'm gonna pray for you. I'm nervous myself. I have been out of school for about seven months. My test is on the 25th. During those months I did complete all of nclex masterys questions which was like 1600. And I'm doing them again. And I am going back and reading chapters I forgot. And I have been taking nurselab tests online since they are free. Maybe you should download the free version of nclex mastery? I think they have 200 free questions. The ones you are taking may be harder. People have said this app is most similar to the test. I don't know though.

Question help
Hey there. I came across this nclex type question and its confused me. Of course it's from a book with no answer key. I believe the answer would be 2 do to the knee gatch. However answer 1 seems like it might be the answer to prevent DVTs but I keep thinking it was only arthroplasty not a replacement. And he is ambulatory since he's at the office. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. During a visit to the medical office a nurse collects data from a client who had a knee arthroplasty 1 week ago. Which of the following statements made by the client should concern the nurse most? 1. "I am so glad to off those blood thinners." 2. "I will keep a pillow under my knee when I am in bed." 3. "I am planing to use my wheelchair to help me get around." 4. "I plan to take Motrin instead of the prescribed Lortab for pain control."

Best/favorite NCLEX review app
I say go for nclex mastery. I have it and done all 1300. I plan to take them again before my test on the 24th. It's helped me tremendously with answering questions. I suggest going to their facebook page and reading reviews. That's what I did before I bought it.
