Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

So he hasn't then?

Beerman said:You changed the conversation. What do you do with people who are entering illegally today?
I responded to your remarks.
What do you want to do with them? Doesn't Trump want to use police and national guard to round up millions of immigrants for mass deportation? Is that what you'd like done?
Tweety said:Interesting to see him today in Wisconsin. One station saying Biden is fired up and another station says "Biden mumbles through speech" (one guess on the networks). No mention of issues. I'm getting tired of this.
It's important to watch both old men closely. Biden had a rough debate but he has recovered, much like you would expect an elderly man to recover from a busy schedule, a cold, and bad night. Who knows, maybe he had taken an otc with an anticholinergic or something. What we know as health professionals is that Biden performed badly that night but has performed well since and that would be unusual for a demented patient. They have more lucid times but not dramatic improvements. We know that during the debate Biden was still answering questions and was using facts and reality in his answers, he was oriented to time and person and place. His opponent demonstrated a pathological inability to not lie.
It is a tiresome and one sided examination of the mental and cognitive health of only one of the two candidates.
Beerman said:Trump's humiliation is really what's important , isn't it?
You could of course read the NYT article the writer mentioned, then add your opinion.
Yes, as important as it has been to try to humiliate Joe Biden with the noticeable difference that Biden doesn't have malignant narcissism but his political opponent does. So those public humiliations, like losing to a guy you said was incompetent and hiding in his basement in the last election, are hard for someone like Trump. That's probably part of the reason Donald can't stop talking about that loss.
I gave you my opinion on the opinion. I wouldn't normally seek out opinions from media that is practiced at and comfortable with lying and creating false narratives for a specific agenda, but I'll read them if you think they are important.

Did you write this before you saw the interview?

I know you've answered. But, when I use your words you say I'm misrepresenting your comments.
So, a immigrant is apprehended crossing our border illegally. In your words, what should be done with him/her?
I want them to be detained until their case is adjuficated. That would be a deterrent and is allowed per our laws.

So you just admitted you choose your media? With msm being mostly either lean left or far left, there isn't many right wing to chose from. So how do you balance your media with your chosen media?
It's possible you have a right biling spot. Your chosen media leads you to what you agree with. Avoiding anything you don't agree with is called cognitive dissonance.
It's a common tactic of propaganda to discredit the source and deflect from what is being discussed....
Crusades said:What do you say to the people who immigrate to the US legaly? Who went through the process and waited?
How would you vet these illegal immigrants you wish to allow over a open border?
How long would they need government subsidies before they get these jobs?
I say, welcome to the USA to those people. What do you say to them? Do you complain to them about your immigration concerns?
The DNS works with Border and Immigration to vet the people and determine asylum status, etc. They are under funded and under staffed so the process takes years.
Here's a reasonably comprehensive review of benefits that immigrants and asylum seekers might want to access for your review.

Everyone chooses their media. Derp
What is it that you don't understand about balance in media consumption?
Thank you for your thoughts on my media choices.
I'm sorry that you don't know that we're supposed to evaluate the credibility and accuracy of media outlets and not just accept what they publish because of some ideological stance that they represent. I'm also sorry that you don't realize that FOX was found liable for intentionally lying to its audience for Trump. They had to admit that they created a false narrative. Yet, people still view them as a reliable source of analysis and political commentary even though those analysts and commentators lied to them over and over again. I'd rather just avoid unreliable and inaccurate sources than to spend so much time trying to filter through their misrepresentations and spun analysis to verify what they are telling me.
The opinion was not different from other right wing opinions about Biden. What do you think there is to say about it? You are free to say something about the opinion.
