Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.
Tweety said:I agree that he seems his prior debate self now. What the debate shows is he can't spontaneously put together thoughts without a teleprompter. Which is concerning because he was prepped at Camp David.
Since we were earlier talking about the family, I noticed this in an article about the post debate talk in the BBC.
Ultimately the decision was Biden's.
In the same article they spoke with Republican Senator Vance
Again, honesty, integrity, maturity and a believe in the Democratic system wasn't mentioned. Just "engaging, funny and "a good natured demeanor" (my spellcheck I guess changed it to the American spelling)". Admirable qualities all for sure but you need a little more to be able to serve as president in my opinion.
And soooooo, does that mean we should vote for Trump?

Apparently it means that we should toss Biden aside and try to figure out who might possibly replace him while knowing that such action would create chaos which benefits Biden's corrupt and dangerous opponent. Biden is old and he mumbles but he is not a threat to our republic and his administrative team is seasoned and capable. Biden's opponent was and still is a habitual liar who was an incompetent chief executive before he tried to overturn election results to retain lost power. That guy's debate performance was every bit as unsettling as Biden's, for entirely different and very important reasons.
"Top White House aides told Axios that President Joe Biden has a window of about six hours during which he is "dependably engaged" and not as "absent-minded.” "slack-jawed,” or prone to "miscues.”

In my view that's not a good reason to elect an incompetent and corrupt man who already tried once to overthrow our government after demonstrating that he is incapable of leading the country even during a national emergency. Trump is well known by this time, his threat is clear. Biden is the vote to preserve our republic.

Still better than Trump who is an existential threat. He's not able to think about a stable and secure vision for us even for 1 hour a day.
There already is a felon in the White House.
"Hunter Biden has joined meetings with President Joe Biden and his top aides since his father returned to the White House from Camp David on Monday evening, according to four people familiar with the matter.
The president's son has also been talking to senior White House staff, these people said."

LOL
That's worrisome to you but you plan on voting for a felon who tried to overthrow your government? The guy who put his kid into an office in the White House?

Biden is going to win, I thought?
So, Trump is irrelevant.
What we need to be a concerned about is who is in the small circle of people who have access to him and who is going is making the big decisions in the Biden White House.

Yes. And it seems that the democrats think that some who would have voted Biden will now vote for Trump. Hence throwing him away like a peice of trash? All used up, no more worth. It's the perverbal "dad, it's time you go to a care home, you're just not safe enough because you can't keep Trump out". "You're can no longer live in your own white house. In time you will like it". Then ignore his phone calls and visit on special occasions.

Maybe that's your answer instead of Dr. Biden wanting power as First Lady, Hunter might be the one pushing his father to continue to run when they were at Camp David. Future convictions and pardons on the horizon maybe?

No, I don't agree with that either. I think he put together thoughts without a teleprompter. He got oist a couple times but mostly he was answering questions and using facts while his opponent told lies. He just looked and sounded old while he did that. I'll vote for mumbling over mendacity any day. Biden's debate was disappointing and his opponents debate solidified that the fellow is a practiced and habitual liar who doesn't rely upon facts to make a point, he just makes stuff up.
Biden has already demonstrated that he and his team are capable of running the country well and his opponent has shown that he's inept and corrupt in that position.
