Republicans in the senate didn't even support the House Republican immigration bill that you mention.   Ignoring that reality to imply that it was obstructed by liberals is an interesting strategy for discussion.  It simply had no chance of passage as written because it was a bit of right wing extremism with no attempt at bipartsan appeal.  The House of Representatives is currently under the thumb of ideological zealots who are stunningly loyal to a felon who tried to overturn the 2020 election results. Very little that they spend time and money on ever makes it to the Senate for consideration.

The border was at the least better managed until Biden discontinued Trump's border policy because Trump put it in place. That is the only reason. To remove everything Trump. Who cares if it's bad fir Americans! As long as Trump doesn't win at anything ever.

Sure. Left wing extremism.  Sure.   The Senate bill was the result of work by Senator Lankford, he was the primary author who negotiated common ground to get Democrats to co- sponsor.  The facts seem to common your characterization.

Trump's border policy separated children from their families and lost hundreds of those children in the chaotic system he created.  Trump loses often.  So much losing.

Of course Biden was better than you expected.  You and Crusades have been telling us that he's in the last stages of dementia so it had to be somewhat disappointing for you that Biden could stay on topic and answer policy questions.  There were some questions that his opponent ad 2 or 3 opportunities to answer but he just couldn't.  Biden did OK, he's old but not crazy.

OK. 

Biden didn't do as well as some people might have expected but he answered questions while trying to fact check his opponent who didn't many questions while telling some really blatant lies about important matters. We saw an elderly man who isn't a great public speaker debate a crazy guy who got increasingly agitated and ranted about all manner of right wing baloney as the evening wore on.  The old guy talked about policy, the other guy lied and made stuff up exactly as expected.  That's his MO; agitated lies.  

I'll vote for mumbles over mendacity any day of the week.

Biden's answers made more sense than Trump's.  Trump told lies and made things up.  Biden mumbled and lost his train of thought.  

I'll vote for the old guy who didn't try to overthrow the last election after he mismanaged the pandemic.  You'll probably vote for the liar.  Not much has changed.
