Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.
"We've always been able to make our own transmissions, our own alternators, and our own engines, and I do not understand why President Biden is allowing his administration to now route our essential supply chains through China," he continued. "The proposed Treasury rules on Foreign Entities of Concern are another example of the Biden administration clearly breaking the law to try to implement a bill that it could not pass."
I can see Machin being upset since he wrote that clause in order to sign off on the inflation reduction act.
The majority of batteries are already US made but it is nteresting that Illinois is offering another opinion.
QuoteHowever, the economics favor working together, he said. "If the US automakers are going to build profitable (electric) vehicles below a $50,000 price point, then they're going need Chinese batteries,” Le said. "We don't have the capacity. We don't have the mining, we don't have the refining, and we won't have it in significant volumes through this decade,” he said.
I'm not even sure why there was a DeSantis-Newsome debate, but clearly Niki Haley was the winner. Newsome said one thing for sure is their of them will be their party's candidate for President.
DeSantis brought out a poop map. Classy for sure.

I guess Hannity and Fox thought that they could make DeSantis look less pathetic if they tag teamed against Newsome. It didn't work very well for them.
It certainly didn't make liberals or Biden look bad.

Since Fox News actively campaigns for Republicans, and Hannity is, well Hannity, and I've always been cynical about Fox News, my guess is they were intending to elevate DeSantis and highlight the problems of California.
I'm not sure there was a clear cut winner as I didn't listen to it.
BTW I meant for my post to be in the election thread. Obviously I'm confused.
"As vice president, Joe Biden used email aliases and private email addresses to communicate with son Hunter Biden and Hunter's business associates hundreds of times, new records released by the House Ways & Means Committee revealed."

It was great that the article includes the GOP speculations about wrong doing AND went back to Burisma to repeat that right wing angst about that corrupt prosecutor that Biden had a hand in getting out of the picture.
Meanwhile, I'll be very interested in discovering exactly how suspicious these communications with a guy who helped with Joe Biden's finances and taxes actually are. We expect House Republicans to fear the worst and claim as much publicly, but so far their concerns are mostly unfounded.

It is interesting considering he looks unhealthy, he rambles, lies and doesn't make sense sometimes. Then again there are a lot of things that people ignore or approve about Trump that I find interesting and baffling.
