As an LPN who has written the exam, I want to know why you are so reluctant to share your educational background.
Honesty and personal morals/ethics appear on the exam.
Just search the provincial colleges of LPNs and you will find all the information you need, including where to find the prep guide.
I'm assuming that since English is your second language you don't really understand how you are coming across in your posts.
to pass the BC RPN exam: look for one of those large Psychiatric/mental health nursing books. they are usually written by american / canadian authors. they come with a CD rom to help readers pass NCLEX exams. practise these questions. they cover about 60% of the exams. 40% covers basic general nursing.
Hi Busog! Since you are a graduate nurse in Philippines, you need to know your scope of nursing. There's two kinds of nursing here in Canada. One is Registered Nursing and the other one is Licensed Practical Nursing.
If you are wanting to write the Canadian PN Exam, you need to get an assessment first from the College of LPN. If you are from BC check out this website http://www.clpnbc.org/
If you are looking for the exam prep guide, you can buy them at local colleges/universities that offers the course. The book that I used is called The Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide for $79.95. However, it is not returnable though.
Just to clarify, in BC, if you are a RN student, you can take the LPN Exam (which obviously needs to get assessed first from CLPNBC). This was suggested to us while we were still on our 2nd year because this will help us earn money while studying. As some of you know, working as a student (RN) nurse is a bit difficult as they only offer the program during summer and only certain hours are offered per student.
Hope this helps :)

I'll take the exam this September..Anyway, I'm still in the middle of nowhere I dont know where to start all over again to reiew but then I'm not planning to go in a review center here cuz it's to expensive but I will borrow a book from toronto library the canadian PN guide and after that I'll try the predictor test online....anyway how old are U?

Then I would ask one of your instructors how to prepare for the exam since that what they do help their students pass.
Also the Canadian Nurses Association has a prep guide for $40.
