no. you can only get the permanent residency card when you have entered canada and have given immigration an address. even then it takes 4-5 weeks to recieve it. i will be going to canada on the 03 june.

actually i am still in london. i will leave for canada on the 03 june 09. i am starting work on the 06 july 09. who knows u might arrive before me. if i do arrive b4 u of course i will let u know howit is in kamloops.

I submitted my application on 10 December 2008. Recieved medical forms 07 january 2009, I did my medicals on 21 february 2009. permanent Reidence Visa issued on 11 march 2009. Like i have said earlier i am still in shock at how fast my case has been processed. What is going on with yours? are you required to have an interview?

no breech, they did not request an interview. i am actually suprised how smooth and fast my application had been processed.

i cannot believe it myself. i got my Permanent residency visa today. CIC london told me i do not need Work Permit and that they were ready to issue PR visa on 10 march 2009. then 14 march 2009 i get the visa. goodluck to the rest of you.

breech, any new on your application?

After some delays in my application due to a a new baby and getting police certificates from ghana i finally did my medicals on 21 February 2009. I sent off my WP application again including new babys details. back to waiting again...

thanks breech again for sharing. i was of the view that pnp applicants do not need to show education certs etc

congrats breech. Is the AOR different from what some call '90 day letter'? do you have 90 days to supply these documents?

to pass the BC RPN exam: look for one of those large Psychiatric/mental health nursing books. they are usually written by american / canadian authors. they come with a CD rom to help readers pass NCLEX exams. practise these questions. they cover about 60% of the exams. 40% covers basic general nursing.
