Humanities Elective Credit

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

OK guys, the program I'm trying to get into requires a Humanities Elective. I'm trying to figure out what class to take to satisfy this requirement, but nothing is jumping out at me...

SO... what class have you taken for Humanities, and how was it?

Thanks

I'm taking medical spanish.

I took Greek and Roman Drama. I love Classical plays so it was fun for me. Take what you enjoy most.

Specializes in Ante-Intra-Postpartum, Post Gyne.

At my school foreign language counts. You could take a spanish class, a plus in nursing I wish I had!

Specializes in NICU, Infection Control.

Some art, music and philosophy classes counted where I went to school, and they also had a class called Humanities, which combined all 3. You could take the 1st semester (Greek/Romans to Renaissance) only or both (2nd semester was Renaissance to present).

I really enjoyed them.

Ohhh...great idea. If I need another Humanities I will check into this one.

Specializes in Psych.

I'm taking Children's Literature for my Fine Arts elective. It is filled with future teachers. I went with the "choose something fun" philosophy. I recently found that my older credits won't count, so I'll be taking a couple of Spanish classes next year to round out my BSN application.
