I thought I would make a thread dedicated to all of us waiting for an Acceptance letter, NET results, or even for those of you who are done waiting....getting ready to start up NS soon! Let's all band together and support one another in these stressful times~ no one understands us better than each other! Go future nurses!!!! :yeah::nurse:

Well I am in the same Wait, Pace, Wait motion as the rest of you. I will not find out til mid April and I am going nuts. I don't have a plan B yet and hope not to have to. I am 35 going on 36 so I understand the NEED to get in. I can't afford to wait very long. It's kinda now or never. Whehhhhh. stress palpitations!

Thanks for everyone's support. To Justmeagain and Crimson, you can NEVER be too old to live out your dreams. I think that is very very inspiring to everyone. I'm sure you'll both be wonderful nurses.

I needed to update on my acceptance...before today, I knew that I got accepted to nursing school no matter what, but I applied to two different programs at the university (their Accelerated BSN as well as the traditional BSN program)..the first letter came for the accelerated and I got in ...so even if I got into the traditional, I am accepting the accelerated path instead! I'm happy, as I am 20 and it's crazy to think I'll be 21 and (hopefully) a NURSE! :)

AHHH this wait is so stressful!!

I am supposed to find out sometime this month (March) and its March 15th already!!

Hi Everyone!!! I am joining the waiting game too...I do not know how many has read my thread about taking the NET this past Thursday but it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was have severe anxiety about it but I so am glad it is over..now I am waiting on my scores. I will tell you a little about myself

I am a 33 YRS OLD. I am a wife and a mother of 3 kids ( 11 yr old, 3 yr old and a 9 month old ) I am a CNA II and I got my Phlebotomy License last December also I finished a medication aide course last month. I have been going to my local community college FULL TIME for pre nursing classes since Fall 2003 and this is my last semester of those classes..thank GOD..:yeah:

I am taking A & P II ( so far I have an A average) I am hoping since I have all the core classes out of the way this will give me extra points to help me if my NET scores are not up to par. I want to wish wish everyone GOOD LUCK and I have my fingers crossed for everybody!!!!:D

Well good luck to you!!! It sounds like you have all the right stuff to get in! I just found out yesterday I got into my Accelerated BSN program. It's a wonderful feeling! Let us all know what happens.

I know I may make a couple of people gag here, but I loved my chemistry courses, especially Orgo!

:barf01:Gag and then some! LOL. Wish you could have done my class for me. Org chem is ruining my life! I wish I loved it, everything would be so much easier. More power to you. I think if I had a different instructor (I have the absent minded professor) it would be easier. He goes off on tangents and then tests us on things that he didn't tell us about and aren't in the book, and sometimes cancels the labs to lecture for 5 hours to get us caught up (even though we are still weeks behind) and then slams us. At least the class is 1/2 over and just one week until spring break!

great idea about support group. Waiting for THE LETTER until May 1. Every time I pick up my mail, my hands shaking. I don't have plan B, so this college I applied to is my only choice.

me too!!!! I aplied to one college, my Community College's LVN Program- I will eventually go back there for their RN Program. I applied back in August & when I called a few days after I applied I was told I was #85 on the LVN wait list & I just called a week ago and I am #44!!!!OMG!!!! I moved 41 spaces, my CC will mail out acceptance in May & I have a really good chance of getting this Fall 2008, I was told that they are antcipating accetping 45 students this Fall, wish me luck:wshgrt:!!!! I keep checking the mail too!!! I hope you get in & I wish you the best & much luck keep me posted ok!!!!

Congrats Jugre! It feels great doesn't it?! I'm so excited! I start May 12th and I've got to quit my job by the 1st of May....I have finals the week right before nursing school starts...so no break, but I signed up for that when I said yes to the Accelerated BSN program!! :) I can't wait!
