I came to class late.
Did my work.
But my teacher gave the group grade perfect, but me a 0.
Is this within a teachers reach to do so?
I e-mailed him and he said that I didn't contribute to the group.
The teacher can absolutely give individual grades for a group project. Each member of a group is responsible for the group assignment and their tasks to complete it. Some groups assign roles for each other to finish multiple tasks or they all do it at the same time. Either way, the group grade doesn't have to be the same as the individual grade. She had the right to give you a 0 grade, because you were late. Lateness can result in a zero grade. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you did end up doing the work, you were late. Some teachers follow a strict lateness policy.

Of course the slacker(s) in a group can receive a different grade than the one(s) who did the work AND presented it. At least they can if the instructor is paying attention.
My question is, why would you even wonder if there is something you should complain about?
You didn't have the discipline to show up on time. If there was some natural disaster that prevented you from getting to class on time, you didn't indicate that you showed them the courtesy of calling to alert them. You were not there to present your portion of the project, which meant the other members had to pick up the slack and do it for you.
You really expected the same grade?
