Polk State Spring 2020

Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

I literally live behind the convention center by I drive. I can see the Orlando eye from my window. I won't mind the drive too much....hopefully but it will give me time to go over things with myself while I'm driving. What part of Orlando are you in?

Like 15 behind UCF. Smh

The first semester, you'll have to drive to the Winter Haven campus. The second semester, classes are at the Lakeland campus. Second semester will probably be a shorter drive for those coming from Orlando because it's right off the parkway.

Oh wow, yeah that's going to be quite a drive. At least an hour and 20 mins and hopefully there isn't any traffic.

I factored both when deciding but for me it's added an additional 5 mins to get to lakeland campus which isn't bad at all. I plan to leave Orlando at 6:30am on class days

So just to clarify, if I'm an alternate, I don't do anything until I get a call? I know I'm supposed to attend the orientation, but I'm not sure if I need to do anything else beforehand.

Yes still go to the orientation. You should be getting a call soonish, today is the last day for people who were accepted to get their letters of intent turned in. What number alternate are you?

I'm #17. I probably won't get a call early, I'm not too confident I will at all but we'll see!

Wear comfortable clothes and bring your nursing packet you received with your letter
