Polk State Spring 2020

Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

So, I'm hoping orientation is different. By orientation last spring, I believe they were close to #10 on the alternate list and then got to around #15 on orientation day. I wonder if they give everyone the option to delay. To everyone who got accepted, did they give you the option to delay until August 2020? They gave me the options to accept, decline, and request to delay admittance until August 2020.

Yes, everyone has the option to delay. Even if you accepted by deadline, you can still change your mind and choose to delay til next semester. When I entered the program a couple of years ago, there were a lot of alternates so I think many people end up changing their mind when it gets closer to the semester starting - it's such a big decision! Also, they do have to make room for the Nursing 1 students from this semester that do not pass - they are allowed to take it again, but only once.

Tomorrow is the big day!! Fingers crossed I'll hear something as an alternate rather than having to wait up until mid-December.

That's what they had posted on the door but don't we graduate in December 2021 which is technically fall 2021? I just noticed it.
