Hi! As part of a group project for our mental health class, we are looking for feedback from experienced nurses regarding symptoms of burnout, and what coping skills you have found effective when feeling burned out. I said: If you get time for a lunch break, leave the floor (don't eat while you chart!). Hide in the clean utility and say the F word a few times PRN. Use your PTO. Don't pick up extra shifts. Journal. Exercise. Eat ice cream. Vent on allnurses. :)
