I just took my exam today at 8AM. I was done within an hour. I had 75 questions. I had around 16 select all that apply. I had no exhibit questions, no pictures, no audio. Nothing. I found the exam to be difficult. I waited around 15 minutes. I did the pearsonvue trick. I used a debit card. I took out most of the funds. I left around $20 on the card. I did the trick. I got the good pop up. (I did the trick 3x) But I don't think there's any way I passed. I took a NCLEX PN about 3 years ago. I did the PVT Trick then, got the good pop up, and I actually passed. But with my NCLEX PN I had exhibits, audio, pretty much everything. I'm so upset. I don't know. I was on the verge of tears as I walked out. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
It is 48 consecutive hours. NOT 48 "business hours", regardless of what the website says. You do NOT wait SIX DAYS for these results, you wait 48 hours. This includes weekends, holidays, Ground Hog Day, Leap Year.
Additionally, for those who are very focused on what type of questions they feel they should have gotten, you really must realize that you ARE tested in every category and must pass every category of testing, but you should not expect YOUR exam to look like someone else's. So no, you do NOT "have to have" what you expect to see. Questions are designed to test your knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge even if you do not recognize the purpose of each question. Pretty common, actually, for people to not know why they are answering any particular question. You do not know what you do not know
At this point, just sit tight and wait for official results. Pearson Vue will be able to confirm pass/fail officially and with 100% accuracy if you use Quick Results. Your State BoN will confirm that you have been issued a license in a multitude of ways, the most common being seeing your name on their website.
Good luck!
I had roughly 15 SATA and about the same amount of exhibit questions. I talked with two of my friends that took it the same day and one of them had 2-3 exhibit questions and the other had none. I had heard about the PearsonVue trick from a classmate that had recently taken it and it worked for her along with several more classmates that had already taken it. Being a nervous wreck, I tried it and got the good pop-up. The next morning I found my name on the Board of Nursing's website and received the official results that I had passed two days later. I cannot speak for everyone, but as for myself and all of my classmates that had taken it before me and those that have taken it since I have that chose to try it, the PearsonVue good pop-up has been a very good sign that you passed. Best of luck to you!
Yea, the PVT has worked for my classmates as well. Those that got the good pop up did in fact pass! Thanks for the well wishes. I will get my unofficial results in about 8 hours! So nervous! Definitely not going to get any sleep tonight haha

Yeah I'm trying to be as patient as possible lol. About 8 hours and 45 minutes left until I can get my unofficial results haha. Hope I pass! Thanks for all the info! 😊
Hey everyone, so I found out that I passed today!!!!! I'm so happy!! Thank you to everyone for all the words of encouragement as I was waiting to get my results. Really means a lot. These were the longest 48 hours of my life lol. Officially a RN!!! 😊
Btw, I did the PVT and got the good pop up. Found out today I passed. So for me, the PVT was accurate!
Thanks again everyone! You're awesome :)
How did you find out how to do the PVT?
To do the PVT trick, go to NCLEX PearsonVue.
Click on start registration, fill out all the required info. It will ask you if you have taken a NCLEX before, some questions on your school, etc.
Then you will need to enter your CC information. Just because you got to the credit card does not mean you failed. Enter the CC information and submit your payment. If it actually takes your payment, then it has been said that you may have failed. If you get a pop up that states: "Our records indicate.." Then thats the good pop up, meaning you probably passed. You have to submit your payment info with a valid credit card. Use a prepaid debit card or something if you can. I used my debit card, left around $20 on the card. Good luck to you! Hope I was able to explain it well enough. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me.

I took mine on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. Went on to DOH website and my license showed active at 5:00 p.m. the same day.
