Please help. Did I pass my NCLEX-RN?

Published

I just took my exam today at 8AM. I was done within an hour. I had 75 questions. I had around 16 select all that apply. I had no exhibit questions, no pictures, no audio. Nothing. I found the exam to be difficult. I waited around 15 minutes. I did the pearsonvue trick. I used a debit card. I took out most of the funds. I left around $20 on the card. I did the trick. I got the good pop up. (I did the trick 3x) But I don't think there's any way I passed. I took a NCLEX PN about 3 years ago. I did the PVT Trick then, got the good pop up, and I actually passed. But with my NCLEX PN I had exhibits, audio, pretty much everything. I'm so upset. I don't know. I was on the verge of tears as I walked out. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Try having to wait six weeks.

I don't think I could do that. I would go crazy lol

Also took my test 2015 @ 8am and my results were in by 10am this morning. I also did the PVT 2 time and got the good pop up.... Anyway I PASSED

To do the PVT trick, go to NCLEX PearsonVue.

Click on start registration, fill out all the required info. It will ask you if you have taken a NCLEX before, some questions on your school, etc.

Then you will need to enter your CC information. Just because you got to the credit card does not mean you failed. Enter the CC information and submit your payment. If it actually takes your payment, then it has been said that you may have failed. If you get a pop up that states: "Our records indicate.." Then thats the good pop up, meaning you probably passed. You have to submit your payment info with a valid credit card. Use a prepaid debit card or something if you can. I used my debit card, left around $20 on the card. Good luck to you! Hope I was able to explain it well enough. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me.

Mav is messing with you ;) He's a regular who is well aware of how to do the PVT, LOL.....bad Mavrick, BAD boy! :D

Hey everyone, so I found out that I passed today!!!!! I'm so happy!! Thank you to everyone for all the words of encouragement as I was waiting to get my results. Really means a lot. These were the longest 48 hours of my life lol. Officially a RN!!!

Btw, I did the PVT and got the good pop up. Found out today I passed. So for me, the PVT was accurate!

Thanks again everyone! You're awesome :)

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't it feel great to have it over with and you know for sure that you passed? Happy dance :D :D :D

Yeah it definitely does! I'm so happy 😊

Sigh. Yes. You lose all of it. Then they will hold your results until you can pay the rest of the $200. Then what if you lose that money and still pass? You spend all that time freaking out even more. Just wait 48 hours. You won't die.

If it tries to charge you and you do not have enough money on the card, you will get a message about insufficient funds, and to try another card. You don't pay in increments. The 200 would be just the price for the next NCLEX that you pay when you are ready to register to take it again. Not t pay for your results.

No, really I'm not messing with you. Re-read my question.

I asked,"How did you find out how to do the PVT"

I did not ask how to actually do the PVT which I am well aware of. Big difference in critical reading.

I am wondering how a person can find out how to do the trick and how to interpret the pop ups as "good" or "bad" without also getting the information that the trick is not any better predictor of your actual results than a Magic Eight Ball.

And, RNsRWe, while I appreciate that you think I'm capable of such badness :sneaky:, I really am baffled at why people continue to risk $200 on a meaningless trick.

On THIS site, it's hard to fathom, as there is quite a bit posted about the downfalls in the PVT. On other sites....they either say it works great, no issues ever, or they gloss over the instances it doesn't. While it's true that MOST of the time the fortune-telling response correlates with the actual results, it doesn't enough of the time to make me think "forewarned is forearmed".

And yes, you ARE bad, LOL.... :D

How do you u have passed using BRN breEZe?
