Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing??

dear all, is it hard to get into Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing?? i heard they require to take the pre-nursing exam and do you guys know what subject of matter test on the exam?? is it hard?? since i never take any biology before!!:cry:

I have actually already done that, as I read your earlier thread, and Ms Gallo was very helpful. She confirmed they had received everything and it would be sent to the admissions committee, so just got to wait now, and hope for the best. Have you received your official offer letter yet!?

Hi Lily-

I was told during my interview that the Admissions Committee will convene again in May, and to follow up with them in 3 wks to get an update on my application. After that, I assume that's when they mail out acceptance/denial letters. So, for now, more waiting...

Hang in there! I'm hoping that you hear from them soon!

Oh My Goodness Liz! I can't believe that! I thought they would tell you if you were in during the interview...you have even more waiting!..well I am sure with your score and interview you are in, and at least you were interviewed! I am just still waiting for that, trying to do yoga, and remain focused on other things but it is really quite difficult lol ;-)

Hi I have a friend that took the NLN and scored composite score of 96 and the AD composite percentale score of 45%. I was wondering if she has a chance of getting in Beth Israel school of nursing?

I believe applicants must have a percentile score of 55% to even be considered. Scores below that will not go to the committee no matter how high your GPA is. Did your friend apply to any other schools?

Anyone have Ms. Gallo's email, I have left messages but no reply yet.. =( I got a good score on my NLN, but this waiting process is sooooo stressful!

While I do not have her personal email address. If you go to their website and click on contact us there is a spot to send an email. From my experience, Ms. Gallo is the one answering these emails and has always gotten back to me with 1 or 2 days.

I have not heard back from beth israel regarding being readmitted for the fall 2009 semester. Honestly, while I would be thrilled if they accepted me as a readmit I do not know how I would handle it financially.

I can fully understand that, that is also one of my main concerns. I wish you luck with the other programs.... God has away of working things out, especially when we think he isn't listening.

I've completed everythung but ethics and nutrition. I am taking ethics this summer online.
